Cebu Camotes Islands Top Tourist Attractions with Todd Hata
HOW TO GET TO CAMOTES ISLANDS?
We flew in via Mactan Intl Airport in Cebu City. Then the next day we proceed to Cebu Ferry Passenger Terminal 1 and we took the 6:00am ferry ride with Oceanjet. Travel time was 2 hours.
Cost: P500 / way + P25 Terminal Fee (Cebu City) + P5 Terminal Fee (Camotes Island)
Cheaper Alternative but Longer Travel Time from Cebu City:
From Cebu City, take a bus from Cebu North Terminal heading to Danao port. Take a passenger pump boat from Danao to Poro, Camotes Island. Total travel time from the city is 4 hours.
Cost: P35 (bus) + P220 (boat) - please reconfirm rates upon arrival there
WHERE DID WE STAY IN CAMOTES ISLANDS?
For budget conscious traveler like me but needed an aircon room, I chose RMS Travelers Inn which I booked via Agoda. Nothing fancy. Room is big but toilet/shower is really small. (Yung tipong pwede ka ng maligo while doing that other thing. Hahaha.) We only stayed there for less than 12 hours just to sleep.
COST: P775 / room

HOW ABOUT THE TOURS?
As soon as you got out of the pier, there will be a lot of tricycle / multicab drivers who’ll welcome you and offer you their services. All of them are accredited by the Tourism Office so you can choose what your gut tells you is a good one.
But based on our experience, I highly recommend Kuya Jed’s services. Siya yung napili naming that time and glad we did because he’s super nice. He’s one of those guides’ who goes for an extra mile just to make his clients happy. OK lang sa kanya kahit ginabi na kami and he even invited us to his relative’s house for lunch since it was the town fiesta then. Yes! Libre lunch!

Best Places to See in Bohol, Philippines (2019)
I WON in a VLOGGING CONTEST for Bohol last night! This was my entry. This video is a product of my love for the place I was born and raised, the beautiful Bohol. It's a first small achievement but I want to share this video which I made to participate in an online vlogging contest for Bohol, Philippines. I have to share it here, where I started, in Youtube, where each day even if it's just 1,2,3 or 4 subscribers added, these people inspired me and fueled me to just keep making videos. I may not know all of you but wherever you are in the globe, thank you.
12 Best Tourist Attractions in Bohol Philippines
Bohol is a first provincial income class island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region, consisting of the island itself and 75 minor surrounding islands. Its capital is Tagbilaran. The province is a popular tourist destination with its beaches and resorts. The Chocolate Hills, numerous mounds of limestone formations, are the most popular attraction. The Chocolate Hills are considered one of Philippine's natural wonders and Bohol is often referred to as the Jewel of the Philippines. They are hills made of limestone left over from coral reefs during the Ice Age when the island was submerged. They turn brown during the summer.
There are four main rivers that run through Bohol: the Loboc River , the Inabanga, the Abatan River and Ipil River.
Numerous waterfalls and caves are scattered across the island.

Sharing the first part of our Cebu City Tour. A city full of flavor and rich history is where the Philippines' Christianity all began. And I wonder why it is so underrated. Cebu is definitely one of the places that I'll go back to because 4 days is not enough to fully appreciate its worth.
