Top 10 Cheapest States To Live In The United States In 2019
Which states are currently the most affordable ?
Housing is by far the largest slice of the average American budget, representing one-third of typical household spending.
Because of this, the best way to cut your costs is to reduce how much you spend to keep a roof over your head.
One obvious way to cut costs on housing is to choose a cheaper home or apartment.
This may be a perfect time to relocate considering home prices and interest rates are back on the rise.
Low costs attract domestic migrants and can give companies an edge when it comes to attracting workers.
Here are the 10 cheapest states to live in the United States in 2019.
1. Mississippi.
2. Arkansas.
3. West Virginia.
4. Tennessee.
5. South Dakota.
6. Alabama.
7. Kentucky.
8. Ohio.
9. South Carolina.
10. Indiana.
My biggest suggestion is to visit these states. Come spend a week to decide where you want to move to.

Live Where You Love: The New River Valley
Welcome to the New River Valley! Nestled in beautiful southwest Virginia, The New River Valley comprises the counties of Montgomery (including the Towns of Blacksburg and Christiansburg) Pulaski, Floyd, Giles and the City of Radford. With a population just under 200,000, the NRV has seen substantial growth over the last few decades and continues to be one of the fastest growing areas in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Town of Blacksburg serves as the New River Valley's hub. Consistently ranked among the country's best places to live, Blacksburg is also the home to Virginia Tech - Virginia's largest university and one of the nation's leading research institutions. From it's die-hard athletic fan base to it's growing Corporate Research Park, Virginia Tech's influence on the region is undeniable.
Residents of the New River Valley enjoy a range of cultural, sporting, and outdoor activities. On Saturdays in the Fall, over 60,000 college football fans descend on Lane Stadium to cheer on their beloved Hokies. If you are passionate for the outdoors, you can hike the Huckleberry Trail or enjoy miles of walking and biking trails in the surrounding Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains. The New River, believed to be the second oldest river in the world, is ideal for boating, fishing, and swimming.
The New River Valley's growing technical community has helped to spur the region's economy. Ranked as having one of the Best Educated Technical Workforces, the New River Valley has seen an increase with both the research economy and entrepreneurial startups.
But even with it's growing tech community, the region still maintains a small town feel with historic Downtowns and a rich arts and culture scene that appeals to people looking for a slower pace of life.
Jersey Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia (4K)
100 miles from the coast of Britain and just 14 off the coast of France is Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands. Jersey is compact, making it easy to explore. Country lanes and walking trails lace the island, ensuring Jersey’s attractions are never far away.
After exploring the picture-perfect capital, St. Helier, head off to explore the island. Each of Jersey’s four coastlines has its own distinctive personality. Head eastward to La Hougue Bie, one of the world’s oldest buildings, and the port of Gorey, with its iconic medieval castle.
Be sure to take in a few sections of the North Coast Path, which offers some of the island’s most dramatic views. Then head south along the west coast to St. Ouen’s Bay, where surfers will find some of the island’s best waves and history buffs can explore the Channel Islands Military Museum. On the southern coast, don’t miss the sheltered sands of St. Brelade, the WW2 German command bunker at Noirmont Point, the tiny islet of Janvrin’s Tomb, and St. Aubin’s Fort.
While the coastline serves up Jersey’s finest views, the island’s interior offers plenty for visitors too, such as the Jersey War Tunnels, the Hamptonne Country Life Museum, the Pallot Steam and Motor Museum and the Jersey Zoo.
If you’re looking for history, adventure, incredible food, and total relaxation, Jersey weaves it all together into something truly magical. It’s not quite British and it’s not quite French, but Jersey is 100% unique.
scenes from charming and delightful suburb Dublin, Ohio near Columbus, Ohio
This shows our walk through the charming Columbus, Ohio suburb of Dublin, Ohio on July 10, 2018. We were geocaching and I had no idea how lovely Dublin is. Quaint, charming, lots of flowers, public art, it was simply delightful. Really loved the flowers and overall quaintness and charm of the place. Wouldn't mind living here except for concern about bad winter weather.
History Made As Pulaski County Designated First Purple Heart County in Missouri
History Made As Pulaski County Designated First Purple Heart County in MO
Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Missouri, Everett Kelly made his third trip to Pulaski County in as many months on March 25, 2013 to present Pulaski County Commissioners with a plaque and flag recognizing the county as a Purple Heart County. Pulaski County is the first county in Missouri to receive this designation, joining in the states effort to honor those veterans who have been wounded or killed while in military service to our country. The declaration follows legislative action which made Missouri's entire sections of Interstate 44 and 70 a Purple Heart Trail.
A Purple Heart County is a community with great admiration and gratitude for the men and women who have served this country.
Commander Kelly, a two-time Purple Heart recipient, along with other Purple Heart recipients, a color guard, and Presiding Pulaski County Commissioner Gene Newkirk raised the County's Purple Heart flag above the courthouse.
Commander Kelly had previously journeyed to Pulaski County to designate the City of St. Robert and the City of Waynesville as Purple Heart Cities. St. Robert received its designation January 7, 2013, and sister city Waynesville, received its designation March 21, 2013.
The Purple Heart Trail was established in 1992 by the Military Order of the Purple Heart to be a symbolic trail throughout all 50 states to commemorate and honor all men and women who have been wounded or killed in combat while serving in the U.S. armed forces.
The Purple Heart Trail originates in Mount Vernon, Va., and traverses the United States to California.
The designation of both St. Robert and Waynesville as Purple Heart Cities, in addition to Pulaski County being recognized as a Purple Heart County, is another indicator of the prevalent patriotism that runs deep in Pulaski County USA.
