Dunluce Castle - Irish Castle Ruins in 360 Degree Video
A walk through the amazing Dunluce Castle Ruins along the North Coast of Northern Ireland. This Irish Castle Ruins is an impressive site viewed in 360 Degree Video.
Dunluce Castle is in Antrim - close to Bushmills. Check out the Mermaid's Cave and explore Dunluce Castle's history and legends.
In our opinion - it is one of the most impressive sites on the North Coast Route drive - which everyone who drive from Belfast to the Giant's Causeway will pass by. It is a great location to stop and explore with family.
There are a lot of castles that one could come across in Ireland and Northern Ireland and I have been visiting as much of them as possible to see what they look like from the inside, what kind of history do they carry, and at the same time give tourists who are coming to visit Northern Ireland the chance to know where they should head and what should they visit.
Dunluce Castle is now a ruined medieval castle standing on the edge of a basalt outcropping in county Antrim, Northern Ireland. Some people love the idea of visiting an old ruined place because they imagine how people used to live in such a place back in the old days and start wandering around with their minds, but there are those who don't like the idea of visiting an old ruined place because they feel that they are visiting a place that is no longer there; from my side, I love the place and love walking around an old ruined castle and see what it still carries until this day - I even visited the place once before with the kids so that they could explore the whole thing as well (
For those coming to visit Dunluce Castle, this place is accessible through a bridge which connects it to the mainland. The castle is surrounded by extremely steep drops on either side. The best thing about this place is the views it could offer those who are visiting it - the sea is welcoming you from every single angle, so it is not just ending with the ruins but one could actually enjoy the view of the sea as well.
The first castle at Dunluce was built back in the 13th century by the MacQuillan family and in the 17th century the castle was the seat of the earls of county Antrim and witnessed the establishment of a small town. The earliest features of the castle are the two large drum towers about nine meters on the eastern side. Actually Dunluce Castle passed through several stages as being home to chiefs and lords.
There are different things that this castle passed through and lately in 2011, major archaeological excavations that found significant remains of the lost town of Dunluce which was razed to the ground in the Irish uprising of 1641.
There are different castles in Northern Ireland which we have visited before, such as Oranmore Castle which I have visited several times and even with the kids who fell in love with it ( there is also Belfast Castle which is one of the main places that people should visit in Northern Ireland ( we have also been to Dundrum Castle which is located in county Down and close to Newcastle ( there is also the Enniskillen Castle and museum ( and a lot of more castles around the country which people could visit and go to - those were the ones we managed to make a trip to and which we were also able to film those videos in.
A lot of people never consider the idea of visiting Dunluce Castle because they consider it a ruined place and they don't get much interested in such places, but according to the trip we have been to and the experience of visiting the place, we totally recommend it because it actually feels different walking through these ruins and trying to think about how it used to look like back in the old days and how they were actually divided.
Have you ever been to Dunluce Castle before? Share your experience with us and tell us more about the experience you have been through while walking through these ruins and what did you like the most about the place?
What are the different castles that you have been to before in Northern Ireland? Is there any castle you have heard about and want us to bring you an experience from? Tell us more and let us rock Northern Ireland with the videos we could bring to those following us.
The trip I had to Dunluce Castle this time was different because of the 360 degree video that I filmed and which I believe will give people the chance to feel as if they are walking through the place and help those who might have any difficulties to come to Northern Ireland or even those who are living far away and are not able to come in order to check this castle.

How to Score The Best Travel Deals
Many of us plan our trips with a simple google search. But sometimes great deals are not going to show up at the top of your results, so here's how you dig a little deeper.
Rather than scrolling 4 or 5 pages in, try searching travel sites mentioned in the video, or even destination specific sites, like ChooseChicago.com and others (also in the video). Known as aggregation deal sites, these urls usually have a full edit staff who are actively looking for the best deals and itineraries that main search engines might not return on a basic search. And you can utilize the sites' trip planning aspects with excellent values that will not show up on your basic toolbar search.

A collection of Timelapse Photography of County Waterford. Waterford is in the south-east of Ireland and is a great place for dog-walking. Dog-walkers come from far and wide to allow their dogs freedom of expression in these pastoral lands.
