During our cruise with Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas, we got to spend a day ( well 8 hours to be exact 10am-6pm) in the Grand Cayman. We can't go see stingrays because of our little one so we got a day pass from Sunshine Suites Resort for $205. The pass includes a room at Sunshine Suites Resort PLUS all the amenities at their sister property , The Westin. There is no docking in the Grand Cayman so we had to get on the ship's tender to get to shore and that took quite a while. When we got to shore, we made a mistake by going with one of the taxi buses .It was only $5/person but it was not worth it. They didn't leave until the bus was full and they made several stops so by the time we got to the Sunshine Suites Resort, we had about 4 hours to spend. After checking in, we headed straight to the Seven Miles Beach and enjoy every minutes that we could. When we got to the beach, we showed the workers our room key from Sunshine Suites Resort so they can set up a beach lounge area for us. The beach was nice and cool . The water was super clear and sand was pure white. We saw a bunch of tiny fishes when we were snorkeling and that was pretty up it. We didn't plan to have lunch at Tortuga ( The Beach Grill & Bar at the Westin ) but they told us that we can charge our bill to our room at the Sunshine Suites Resort so we were like why not. We got a Bloody Mary, a coke, some water, a chicken tenders basket, and some buffalo wings. The bill came out to $50 USD but it was worth it for the convenience and the great view. Overall it was a nice day at the Grand Cayman and we glad that we got the Day Pass at the Sunshine Suites Resort.
