Airbnb Fort Worth Reviews
Reviewed: ★★★★★ Magnolia Avenue Getaway Fort Worth, TX
The Space
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home is located in the National Historic District of Fairmount-right in the heart of 'Near South Side'.
About the Neighborhood:
We're located on a street two houses off Magnolia Avenue. Just steps from eclectic eateries and one-of-a-kind bars. A few favorites include: Spiral Diner (Vegan Restaurant); Ellerbe’s Fine Foods (Excellent Farm-to-table meals), The 'Usual' (place to try 'classic cocktails' in an upscale environment,) Zio Carlos (our newest Gastro pub brewing some of FW finest and serving some amazing pizza. BREWED (referred to as 'The Locals living room') serves up great coffee, amazing beers on tap from all over the world and excellent food. Lilly's Bistro, Sunjiko Station Sushi, Hot Damn Tamale, the list goes on and on for fun things to do on Magnolia and it’s all walking distance from the house. We're very excited that Cane Rosso pizzeria (authentic Naples style pizza) is opening in November '13! Rahr Brewery is only a 1/2 mile from the house. If you're here on a Saturday afternoon or Wed evening, pay $10 for a glass and get four pints of beer-you'll most likely see a Sports game on the big screen (email hidden) band playing. Check out the live music line up at the Live Oak Lounge and have a drink on the rooftop before the show.
'Share a Bike' is Fort Worth’s newest bike program. Located along the street you can swipe your CC, pick up a bike and return it to one of the many bike stations located within the city. Near South Side is situated just two and a half miles from downtown Sundance Square and three miles from West 7th Street.

This house was designed too keep the original old school theme from the early nineteen hundreds with an added modern/eclectic urban feel. Guest Access

Interaction with Guests
Often times I don't get the opportunity to meet the guest face to face or even talk to them on the phone although I'm happy too. I let guests enjoy their stay and don't want to bother them. I always leave my cell number in the welcome letter and tell them don't hesitate to call should they need anything or have any special request.
The Neighborhood
The house is located in the National Historic District of Fairmount. A community driven neighborhood with community gardens, parks, a library, and community theater.
Getting around
Fort Worth Bike Share-rent a bike by the hour. Bus that picks up one block from the house and a train that will take you directly to Dallas.
Other Things to Note
You can tell from the reviews that the house gets great remarks but people often leave out the backyard. It is really nicely landscaped with lots of cactus, agaves, hanging lights with a seating area. It makes for a great place to relax with a glass of wine when weather permits.
A two night minimum stay is required for weekends. (Friday & Saturday)
