Tolantongo is a box canyon and resort located 17 kilometres from Ixmiquilpan on Route 27 in the Mezquital Valley, State of Hidalgo in Mexico, It is about 1.5 hours northwest of Pachuca and 198 km or three-to-four hours northwest of Mexico City. The closest village to the resort is called El Cardonal and it is part of Cardonal Municipality.

6. The Cave of Swallows Aquismon
The Cave of Swallows, also called the Cave of the Swallows , is an open air pit cave in the Municipality of Aquismón, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The elliptical mouth, on a slope of karst, is 49 by 62 m wide and is undercut around all of its perimeter, widening to a room approximately 303 by 135 meters wide. The floor of the cave is a 333-meter freefall drop from the lowest side of the opening, with a 370-meter drop from the highest side, making it the largest known cave shaft in the world, the second deepest pit in Mexico and perhaps the 11th deepest in the world.

Puente de Dios.Descendiendo por la ladera del cerro, a partir de la Peña de la Gloria y a 20 minutos de caminata se encontrará ante un puente natural denominado Puente de Dios, de singular belleza, que se localiza en una hondonada rodeada de tupida vegetación y debajo de él, pasa la corriente del río; observándose ahí dos pequeñas cascadas.
Puente de Dios que, tal y como su nombre lo explica, tiene un brillo singular provocado por el conjunto de cascadas que lo circundan.
