Ecuador Loves Surf Esmeraldas
Ecuador has five provinces on the coast with kilometers of perfect warm water waves with sand and rock bottoms for professionals and amateurs.
In the north part of the country, you'll find the province of Esmeraldas, the Green province, with kilometers of beaches and good waves that crash alone waiting to be discovered. This is how our tour through the cost of continental Ecuador begins.
Ecuador Loves Surf Salinas Santa Elena - English
In the province of Santa Elena, on the blue coast, lies Salinas, a 100% tourist city chosen by thousands of ecuadorians as the ideal place to take a vacation. Being the most prominent point in Ecuador, Salinas has north, west and south fronts, offering more than 20 surf points, and has awaked the passion for wave riding in thousands of surfers.
Atacames Beach ECUADOR (Where on Earth is Rinell?)
Atacames’ rolling cobalt waves set the stage for Ecuador’s most popular beach, crowded with thatched bars and sarong shops.
If you enjoy the accoutrements of urban beaches, this place is for you. The strip is the lively haunt of all-night revelers with blaring music and coconuts waiting to be split, spiked with rum and served up with a Chinese umbrella.
Revelry thrives during high season (July to mid-September, Christmas through New Year, Carnaval and Easter) when serranos (highlanders) pour into town to party. In low season it drops dead and becomes a cloudy, brooding refuge. .

ECUADOR : UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS: Viet Man living in South America (TRAVEL TIPS VLOG)
Northwestern Ecuador was not what I had expected at all. Despite a US travel advisory over safety and crimes, I found that Esmeraldas was the most friendly city that I've ever visited. I wish I knew more Spanish... like father Xavier. He is a Vietnamese man from Lam Dong Province who has lived in Ecuador for four years. This vlog is just a preview and also my last day showcasing what I did and how I traveled from Esmeraldas to Orange County. The priest and I went to Muisne to visit his two fellow Indonesian priests and then I flew to Quito where my flight was delayed until morning. When I got into Dallas, I found out that my friend Alex from highschool was still there because he missed his flight. I also missed my connecting flight to Los Angeles because the one hour layover was not enough to clear immigration and retrieve my bags and clear customs. I made it to Los Angeles soon after where I met up with my long time college buddy Aaron. I haven't seen him in a long time. Then I went home and slept. Stay tuned for the full Vietnamese Man in Ecuador documentary coming up! Please be patient with me.
