Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the USA, but 'Little Rhody' proves the saying that the best things come in small packages. Visitors return time and again to enjoy peaceful coastlines and countryside, as well as some of the USA's best-preserved heritage and finest dining. See aerial views of the breathtaking Newport Shoreline along the Cliff Walk past the historic Newport Mansions.

Mount Washington Auto Road
Recorded September 15, 2016
The Mount Washington Auto Road an 8 mile toll road that extends from New Hampshire Route 16 in Pinkham Notch to the summit of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The road climbs 4,618 feet from an altitude of 1,527 feet at the bottom to 6,145 feet at the top, an average gradient of 11.6%. The road was completed and opened to the public in 1861. Due to its remarkable location, weather, and history, the Mount Washington Auto Road is unlike any other driving experience in the Eastern United States. A trip on Mount Washington Auto Road is a one-of-a-kind experience offering ever-changing weather extremes, panoramic views and the opportunity to pass through four distinct climate zones as you climb to the highest peak in the Northeast. This video is one complete roundtrip of the scenic journey.

In My Footsteps: Narragansett, RI.
A short video of a summer 2010 trip to Narragansett, Rhode Island. Featured are The Towers and Point Judith Light. The Towers are the only remaining piece of the Narragansett Pier Casino which burned down in 1900. The current Point Judith Lighthouse was built in 1856 and was painted half brown and half white to make it easier to see during the day. it sits on the grounds of the Coast Guard Station.
