Falcon Lake is located in the Whiteshell Provincial Park in southeastern Manitoba, Canada. The lake is about 152 kilometres east of Winnipeg on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Ontario border. The lake is named for Métis poet and songwriter Pierre Falcon .It is known in Ufology for the May 20, 1967 UFO sighting known as the Falcon Lake Incident.The 2010 album The Falcon Lake Incident was recorded at a cottage on Falcon Lake by Canadian singer-songwriter Jim Bryson.The lake inspired the name of TV series Falcon Beach although that fictional location is set on another Manitoba Lake. Gimli's History in Art - Manitoba, Canada

Gimli is located on the western shore of Lake Winnipeg, about 75 kilometers north of Winnipeg. Originally founded by Icelandic settlers in the late 1800's, this town is celebrated for its vast array of unique cultural events such as the Gimli Film Festival, and Íslendingadagurinn - the Icelandic Festival of Manitoba.

One of the most popular attractions in Gimli is an outdoor gallery at the dock. Here, the Gimli Art Club displays painted murals that depict various elements of the region's culture and history.

Drop Tower: Scream Zone off-ride HD Kings Island

This is one of two Intamin giant gyro drop towers located in the USA. The other one is at Kings Dominion in Virginia. Although both look alike, there are quite a few differences. At 315 feet, this one is 10 feet taller than the one at Kings Dominion and this one rotates on the ascent to the top whereas the other does not. Even though this one is taller, the one in Virginia has an eight foot longer drop because the brakes are located lower down on the tower. This also gives the one at Kings Dominion a greater top speed of 72 mph, compared to 67 mph for this one.
