    Vääksy is a village and seat of the municipality of Asikkala in southern Finland. It is located on an isthmus between Päijänne and Vesijärvi, about 20 kilometres north of Lahti. The Vääksy canal, Vesijärven kanava, is located in Vääksy. Its length is 1,3 km and the height difference is about 3 metres. Nowadays it is the most popular freshwater canal in Finland. The canal was built in 1869-71 and completed in 1903-06.

    Ruoholahti is a quarter in Helsinki, part of the Länsisatama neighbourhood and Kampinmalmi district. The name means Grass Bay and is pronounced [ˈruoholɑhti].     Koitelinkoski is an outdoor recreation area located along the Kiiminkijoki river in the Kiiminki district in Oulu, Finland. The area consists of small islands dividing the free-flowing river into smaller streams and rapids. The Koitelinkoski rapids stretch about three kilometers on the river. The rapids are one of the most impressive ones on the Kiiminkijoki river.The larger islands are connected with suspension bridges. There is a summer café and an event stage on the largest, Sahasaari, island. There are several campfire sites scattered on the islands.
