Finleyville is a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States, named for John Finley. It was built at the junction of Brownsville Road and the 'Washington Road' from Cox's Fort to Catfish Camp, now Washington, Pennsylvania. It was originally known as Rowgalley until after a large contingent of Scots-Irish came to town including a number of Finleys. Reporter Ben Finley's family originates from Finleyville. It is in the Peters Creek watershed. The population was 461 at the 2010 census.

Ohiopyle State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on 19,052 acres in Dunbar, Henry Clay and Stewart Townships, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The focal point of the park is the more than 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River Gorge that passes through the park. The river provides some of the best whitewater boating in the Eastern United States. Ohiopyle State Park is bisected by Pennsylvania Route 381 south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The park opened to the public in 1965, but was not officially dedicated until 1971. Ohiopyle State Park was chosen by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and its Bureau of Parks as one of 25 Must-See Pennsylvania State Parks.

The house was built partly over a waterfall on Bear Run in the Mill Run section of Stewart Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, located in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains. The house was designed as a weekend home for the family of Liliane Kaufmann and her husband, Edgar J. Kaufmann, Sr., owner of Kaufmann's Department Store. Kennywood is an amusement park located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The park first opened as a trolley park attraction at the end of the Mellon family's Monongahela Street Railway on May 30, 1899. It was purchased in 1906 by F. W. Henninger and Andrew McSwigan who later formed the Kennywood Entertainment Company, which owned and operated the park as a closely held family business for over 100 years. Kennywood was purchased by California-based Palace Entertainment in 2007. The amusement park features various structures and rides dating back to the early 1900s. Along with Rye Playland Park, it is one of only two amusement parks designated a National Historic Landmark for its history and historic rides, and is one of only thirteen trolley parks still operating in the United States.

Abandoned Devil's Tunnel next to Green Man's Tunnel - Pennsylvania

On the outskirts of Pittsburgh, near the intersection of Piney fork road and Snowden road in South Park Township there’s an old neglected railroad tunnel covered in graffiti. Both the sides of the tunnel has gates however one side was always open and the other end was damaged by some trespassers. what could be the reason for locking the gate when it's not leading anywhere? Mt Pleasant Twp, Pa conditional use hearing on 3 new drilling pads

November 17, 2014 continuation of a conditional use hearing in Hickory, Pa. by the Mt. Pleasant Township supervisors on 3 new drilling pads proposed by Range Resources Appalachia. The next continuation of this hearing is scheduled for 6:00pm December 17, 2014 at the fire department meeting hall in Hickory, Pennsylvania.
