Dimaro Folgarida is a comune in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 34 kilometres northwest of the provincial capital Trento. As of 1 January 2015, it had a population of 2,206 and an area of 36.53 square kilometres .Dimaro Folgarida borders the following municipalities: Cles, Commezzadura, Croviana, Malè, Pinzolo, Ville d'Anaunia. The comune was established on 1 January 2016 after the merger of the municipalities of Dimaro and Monclassico.

Gardaland is an amusement park located in North-Eastern Italy. Opened 19 July 1975, the resort includes Gardaland Park, Gardaland Sea-Life, and the Gardaland Hotel. It is adjacent to Lake Garda, but does not actually face the water. The entire complex covers an area of 445,000 m2 , while the theme park alone measures 200,000 m2 . Sporting both traditional attractions and entertainment shows, it attracts nearly 3 million visitors every year. In June 2005, Gardaland has been ranked fifth in the top ten amusement parks in the world with the best turnover by Forbes Magazine, and according to 2011 data is the eighth in Europe by number of park visitors. Lake Molveno is a lake in Trentino, Italy. The only settlement is Molveno, located at the north end of the basin. The lake marks the boundary between the Group of the Brenta Dolomites to the west and the Paganella - Mount Gazza to the south east). In 1952 the lake was drained to allow the construction of collectors and conduits to feed the power plant of S. Massenza. On this occasion a petrified forest submerged at the time of the lake's formation was found on the bed of the lake. The analysis with radiocarbon carried out in the laboratory of nuclear geology of the University of Pisa has established that the formation of Lake Molveno dates back to the early Iron Age. .

The Ponte Vecchio or Ponte degli Alpini is the covered wooden pontoon bridge designed by the architect Andrea Palladio in 1569. The bridge is located in Bassano del Grappa and was destroyed many times, the last time in World War II. The bridge spans the river Brenta. The Brenta river was an important means of communication in the 18th century from the mountains of Grappa to Venice.

The Vittoriale degli italiani is a hillside estate in the town of Gardone Riviera overlooking the Garda lake in province of Brescia, Lombardy. It is where the Italian writer Gabriele d'Annunzio lived after his defenestration in 1922 until his death in 1938. The estate consists of the residence of d'Annunzio called the Prioria , an amphitheatre, the protected cruiser Puglia set into a hillside, a boathouse containing the MAS vessel used by D'Annunzio in 1918 and a circular mausoleum. Its grounds are now part of the Grandi Giardini Italiani. References to the Vittoriale range from a “monumental citadel” to a “fascist lunapark”, the site inevitably inheriting the controversy surrounding its creator.

Snowfall in Folgarida, Trentino (Italy)

Snowfall in the hinterland of northern Italy. Secluded in the Dolomites, as part of the Alps Mountains, the village of Folgarida sits upon the valley side, overlooking the rolling hills, pastures and vineyards in its peripheries. The village is known for its winter sports activity, while being a point of refuge for hickers all year round.
