Upstate New York - Chasing Waterfalls - Glidecam HD-4000 - Nikon D5100

A peaceful journey through upstate new york's national parks. I know its not perfect, but i gave it my best shot. Essentially this is a cover of one of Devin Graham's nature videos. It looked well within my skill set and budget so i decided to give it a shot. I know if i took this trip again the results would be at least twice as good. Shot with Nikon D5100, Sigma 10-20mm 3.5, Nikkor 55-300mm 4.5, and Glidecam HD-4000. I put in all my best efforts into making this video and it was definitely a learning experience. The majority of the equipment i used was new to me and there's only so much the internet can teach you. The shooting done on day 3 of hiking is substantially better than the first day out. I have so much to improve on such as composition, smoothness, exposure, and sharpness. Even through the frustrations, everyday working on this video was a blast. I can't wait to do more. I hope you enjoy it.

The locations we went to were: Stony Kills Falls at the Minnewaska's Preserve, Watkins Glen State Park, Eternal Flame Falls at Chestnut Ridge State Park, and Filmore Glen State Park. All in New York State.
