A Walk on Takeshita Street in Harajuku Tokyo Japan April 2018
In this video I walk around Takeshita Street in Harajuku. I'll upload another video to show how cute PomPomPurin Cafe is, but this is mainly to get a sense of the most popular street in Harajuku. It's extremely close to Harajuku station, as you can see in the video. I'm hoping to start a blog in which I will provide more details of the area, but this is more something to see the basic layout and feel of the place.
Thanks for watching!

Hi! We're just your average husband and wife flying around the world in business class for FREE. Without our miles and points, we never would have been able to afford this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We grew up on opposite sides of the United States in Texas and Ohio. Later in college, we met and got married in August of 2016. As poor newly weds and recent college grads, we moved to New York City to begin what we thought would be our long careers in finance. Only one year later, after accumulating over 2 million points through travel hacking, we booked round-the-world business class tickets to over 40 countries. Completely for free, using the personal travel hacks we had learned to save us $62,000. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned, and began this once-in-a-lifetime adventure on August 27, 2018. Our hope is to entertain and enrich you every day through our daily videos, as well as share the personal travel hacks we're using to travel the world for free :) Let's be friends :) say hello sometime!
Azaleas in Tokyo at Nezu Shrine | 根津神社のつつじ
Walking through Bunkyo Ward in Tokyo, I came across an azalea festival at a shrine. This is a mostly unedited stroll through the shrine grounds and azalea garden.

SENSOJI TEMPLE IN ASAKUSA TOKYO 2018
SENSOJI TEMPLE IN ASAKUSA TOKYO 2018
Sensō-ji is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. Formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II.
When approaching the temple, visitors first enter through the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), the outer gate of Sensoji Temple and the symbol of Asakusa and the entire city of Tokyo.
A shopping street of over 200 meters, called Nakamise, leads from the outer gate to the temple's second gate, the Hozomon. Alongside typical Japanese souvenirs such as yukata and folding fans, various traditional local snacks from the Asakusa area are sold along the Nakamise. The shopping street has a history of several centuries.
Beyond the Hozomon Gate stands the temple's main hall and a five storied pagoda. Destroyed in the war, the buildings are relatively recent reconstructions. The Asakusa Shrine, built in the year 1649 by Tokugawa Iemitsu, stands only a few dozen meters to the left of the temple's main building.
Various events are held throughout the year in the Sensoji Temple area. The biggest of them is the Sanja Matsuri, the annual festival of the Asakusa Shrine, held in May. Other events are the Asakusa Samba Carnival in August and the Hagoita-ichi (Hagoita Market) at which decorated wooden paddles used in the traditional game of hanetsuki are sold.
Hours
Main hall: 6:00 to 17:00 (from 6:30 from October to March)
Temple grounds: Always open

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Sunpu-Jyo Park,Shizuoka City Japan(2012.4.6)
Cherry Blossoms and Castle in Kiyosu City, Aichi
Spring is the most beautiful season in Japan, I guess. One of the
reason is cherry blossoms. Here is a perfect combination of
cherry blossoms and Japanese castle. The location is Kiyosu City in Aichi prefecture. It's pretty close to Nagoya Station. If you have a chance to visit Japan in spring time, you cannot miss to see cherry blossoms.
Don Quijote grazing (ドン・キホーテ)
Don Quijote (ドン・キホーテ Don Kihōte) is a discount chain store that has over 160 locations throughout Japan, three stores in Hawaii and two in Singapore (branded as Don Don Donki).[2][3] It carries a wide range of products, from basic groceries to electronics to clothing. The store is well known in Japan and is often referred to by its shortened name Donki (ドンキ). Distinctly, Don Quijote tends to keep very late hours for Japanese retailing (to 3 or 5am, or even 24 hours) and it packs its goods from ceiling to floor in a distinct merchandising strategy.
