Fulton has a post office with ZIP code 95439, which was established in 1871. The community is named after Thomas and James Fulton, who founded the community. The population as of the 2010 U.S. Census was 541. There are a set of railway lines which go through the town boundaries; these lines are used by Sonoma–Marin Area Rail Transit .

    Herbert Clark Hoover was an American engineer, businessman and politician who served as the 31st President of the United States from 1929 to 1933 during the Great Depression.     The National Churchill Museum , located on the Westminster College campus in Fulton, Missouri, United States, commemorates the life and times of Sir Winston Churchill. In 1946, Winston Churchill delivered his famous Sinews of Peace address in the Westminster Historic Gymnasium. In it was the line: From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. This sentence caused the oration to become known as the Iron Curtain speech. Sinews of Peace heralded the beginning of the Cold War. The National Churchill Museum comprises three distinct but related elements: the Church of St Mary Aldermanbury, the museum, and the Breakthrough sculpture.
