Da Kulturhavn Gilleleje sidste år slog dørene op, flyttede Gilleleje Bibliotek med ind i de nye bygninger. Biblioteket er i dag en central del af Gillelejes nye kulturhus, sammen med biografen og restauranten.
Gilleleje Bibliotek er en del af Gribskov Bibliotek, som også har afdelinger i Helsinge, Græsted og Tisvilde. TV Kronborg fik en rundvisning i bibliotekets flotte, nye lokaler af bibliotekschef Vibeke Steen.
Vintage Steam Locomotive Train - DSB Litra K 582 Danske Statsbaner - Built by Ernesto Breda in 1900
We are at Klampenborg train station located just a few minutes outside of Copenhagen, Denmark. This footage is of a vintage steam engine locomotive which is run and maintained by Nordsjællands Veterantog (North Zealands Vintage Train). Nordsjællands Veterantog has since the late 60´s been actively acquiring and restoring vintage trains.
The train in this video is called Danske Statsbaner, DSB Litra K 582 and was built in Milano, Italy in 1900 by Breda (Società Italiana Ernesto Breda). The train was later refurbished in 1930 and was upgraded with, among other things, new and much larger boilers. These K Steam Engines where used to pull Express trains on all of Denmark's major railway routes right up until the 1950´s. 100 K Steam engines where built between 1894 and 1902. The K Steam engines started to be decommissioned from 1935 up until 1964.
DSB K 582 is a conventional locomotive with a tender attached for water and coal. The engine is a two-cylinder machine with piston calipers which regulate the steam in take. The boiler is constructed with a super heater, which heats the steam generated by the boiler to a temperature of about 190 ° C to about 325 ° C.(This information is translated from Danish to English. I am not a mechanic so I do hope that the translation technical words are correct).
Wiki writes about Società Italiana Ernesto Breda, Società Italiana Ernesto Breda, more usually referred to simply as Breda, was an Italian mechanical manufacturing company founded by Ernesto Breda in Milan in 1886. The firm originally manufactured locomotives and other railway machinery, but later branched out into armaments and aircraft. Occasionally, not continuously, the company also built trolleybuses. In 1962, it was nationalised as part of EFIM, but was liquidated in the 1990s. The bus and tram manufacturing division fused with Ansaldo to form AnsaldoBreda, the armaments division became an independent entity as Breda Meccanica Bresciana, as did the research division as Istituto Scientifico Breda...

PhD Forsvar: Aslak Aamot - Mobiliteter i Planlægning (2016)

Summary:
Mobilities in Planning is a dissertation about the societal engagement of contemporary social scientific practices. The increasingly permeating problems of a growing ecological crisis is posing unprecedented challenges to most moden societies. Especially in a time where social institutions seem to be caught in a evolutionary intertia or frenetic standstill. This assessment calls for a new set of critically and scientifically grounded public platforms and collaborative practices between people that populate major societal institutions.
The dissertation takes its staring point from a 3-year long dialogue- and action oriented research process, in the cross-sectorial planning project Formula M. The project has developed collaborations between municipal planners from 10 Danish cities, business leaders from 70 private companies, researchers, NGOs, planning consultants and providers of transport and communication technologies and services.
This dissertation contributes with qualitative insights into disciplinary, relational and ethical processes, that are involved in organisational and institutional changes. The analyses follow how relationships between practicioners from various disciplines and types of organizations (municipalities, energy companies, insurance companies, retail, consultancy, medical companies, transportation providers, NGO's, ministries, universities, etc.) are constituted in order to enable processes of transformation across modern societal sectors (of government, civil society, enterprise and academia). On a interpersonal level the analysis also highlights some of the professional, emotional and social abilities, that shape the trajectories of collaborative efforts across disciplines, organisations and sectors.

Mobiliteter i Planlægning handler om samfundsvidenskabens sociale engagement i sine omgivelser. Et efterhånden velkendt voksende pres på jordens økosystemer og de endnu langsomme forandringer af sociale institutioner, indebærer hidtil usete udfordringer for fremtidsorienterede sociale aktiviteter. Dette kalder ikke blot på ny og bedre kritisk teori og naturvidenskabelige landvindinger, men også på metodisk udvikling af mellemrum og samarbejdsformer mellem mennesker der befolker samfundets institutioner.
Afhandlingen tager afsæt i et 3 årigt dialog- og aktionsforskningsforløb i den tværsektorielle organisation Formel M. Her har kommunale planlæggere fra 10 byer, planlæggende medarbejdere fra 70 virksomheder, sammen med forskere, NGOer, planlægningskonsulenter, trafikselskaber og mobilitets-servicevirksomheder, udviklet visioner, metoder og eksperimenter med at planlægge mobilitet.
