Tropical Islands Resort is a tropical theme park located in the former Brand-Briesen Airfield in Halbe, municipality in the district of Dahme-Spreewald in Brandenburg, Germany, 50 kilometres from the southern boundary of Berlin. It is housed in a former airship hangar , the biggest free-standing hall in the world. The hall belonged to the company Cargolifter until its insolvency in 2002. Castle Colditz is a Renaissance castle in the town of Colditz near Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz in the state of Saxony in Germany. The castle is between the towns of Hartha and Grimma on a hill spur over the river Zwickauer Mulde, a tributary of the River Elbe. It had the first wildlife park in Germany when, during 1523, the castle park was converted into one of the largest menageries in Europe. The castle gained international fame as the site of Oflag IV-C, a prisoner-of-war camp during World War II for incorrigible Allied officers who had repeatedly escaped from other camps.

Königstein Fortress , the Saxon Bastille, is a hilltop fortress near Dresden, in Saxon Switzerland, Germany, above the town of Königstein on the left bank of the River Elbe. It is one of the largest hilltop fortifications in Europe and sits atop the table hill of the same name. The 9.5 hectare rock plateau rises 240 metres above the Elbe and has over 50 buildings, some over 400 years old, that bear witness to the military and civilian life in the fortress. The rampart run of the fortress is 1,800 metres long with walls up to 42 metres high and steep sandstone faces. In the centre of the site is a 152.5 metre deep well, which is the deepest in Saxony and second deepest well in Europe. Dresden to Eisenach Part one of two

Starting off at around 06:30 from a motorway service station where I has spent the night, I travel in a westward direction arriving somewhere to the west of Chemnitz. I would like to point out the wonderful railway bridge over the motorway at Chemnitz which took years to develop for a form suitable for the motorway. A wonderful compliment to German engineering.

My channel is one of the most prolific from Poland, although not amongst the most visited. With almost one film per day, one may be forgiven for thinking I do nothing else but I do have a day job as well. I have produced around 1,000 original films, most in English but also in Polish, French, Italian, Spanish and the occasional hint of German and Hebrew. My big interest in life is travel and history but I have also placed films on other subjects

There are a number of films here on the packaging industry. This is because I am the publisher of Central and Eastern European Packaging -- - the international platform for the packaging industry in this region focusing on the latest innovations, trends, design, branding, legislation and environmental issues with in-depth profiles of major industry achievers.

Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!

Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

In 1997 I founded Polish Business News .There are a number of business related films here and I intend to do many more on CRM (customer relations management).

Auf großer Tour durch Freiberg 2014-1

Im Jahr 2014 war ich in Freiberg und habe einen großen Stadtbummel gemacht, beginnend an der Bahnhofstraße, am Wernerplatz vorbei weiter die Bahnhofstraße entlang zum Bahnhof und den Bahnhofsvorplatz. Mein Weg ging den Roter Weg zurück vorbei an der ehemaligen Poliklinik zum Postplatz und der Post. Weiter ging es ein Stück über die Hornstraße in die Wasserturmstraße zur Talstraße. Dann gibt es noch Einblicke von der Meißner Gasse, beginnend an der Postsäule, und am Ende von einen sehr schönen Erker. Den Schluss gibt es noch das Fragment einer Betsäule, die Liebesschlösser und das Schwarze Haus zu sehen.
