Hammonton is a town in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States, known as the Blueberry Capital of the World. As of the 2010 United States Census, the town's population was 14,791, reflecting an increase of 2,187 from the 12,604 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 396 from the 12,208 counted in the 1990 Census.Hammonton was settled in 1812 and was named for John Hammond Coffin, a son of one of the community's earliest settlers, William Coffin, with the d in what was originally Hammondton disappearing over time. A family produce farm since the late 19th century, the vineyard was first planted in 1999, and opened to the public in 2007. The winery was originally known as Placido's Winery, but the name was changed in 2008 because of winery with a similar name exists in Tuscany. Plagido has 14 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 4,200 cases of wine per year. The winery is named after the owner's great-grandfather, who immigrated from Italy in the late 19th century, and started a farm in Hammonton.

Stayed in this hotel at Atlantic City on two weeknights, (fromerly a hilton) got a hotel deal and it was cheap! Got in after midnight, so I can't get a high floor room, which is what I usually prefer. My mood was elvated when I saw the jucucci jets in my bath tub! The best part of this room is got to be a the tub, it is very deep and it got the jets. No wonder the hilton can't keep up with business! Everybody are soaking in the tub and no gambling! The resturants looks promising but the nice ones were closed on week nights. The gamble bonus was the worst I've ever got, you need to play the slot for half an hour to get a 10 dollar slot bonus! It's totally not my thing, topicana gave me a 25 dollar slot bonus, that's the way to do it. But overall the hotel was well managed, it's kind of slow and staffed with retiree, but hey, this is not new york, for this price, I think it's worth it, anything more, I would be grumpy. It's right on the board walk, so that's nice, it's a little far away from the strip, where all the action is located, which is fine by me. Perfect for the people who needed some peace and quiet. perfect for a relaxing kind of vacation.

Atlantic City is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States, and an internationally renowned resort city for gambling, conventions, and leisure. The city also served as the inspiration for the original version of the board game Monopoly. Atlantic City is located on Absecon Island on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Atlantic City officially became a city in 1854. The new city contained portions of Egg Harbor Township and Galloway Township.[12]

The three routes into Atlantic City are the Black Horse Pike/Harding Highway (US 322/40), White Horse Pike (US 30), and the Atlantic City Expressway. Atlantic City is roughly 132 miles (212 km) south of New York City by road (via the Garden State Parkway), 55 miles (89 km) southeast of Philadelphia.[13] The city borders Absecon, Brigantine, Pleasantville, Ventnor City and West Atlantic City (part of Egg Harbor Township).
