It directs boats towards the entrance to the Macleay River, which is located just to the north of the lighthouse.It is one of the last major lighthouse complexes designed by the New South Wales colonial architect of the time, James Barnet, and was one of Australia's last lighthouses to be designed for architectural excellence. The Dangar Falls is a cascade waterfall located across the Bielsdown River about 1.2 km north of Dorrigo in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. The falls are small, picturesque, and are a popular photographic subject. For a short time after rain they are quite spectacular. There is an attractive picnic spot which offers excellent views. It is possible to climb down the banks and walk along the river below the water falls. In the past the waterhole has been the scene of several tragic accidents. Despite warning signs from the local council, the 30-metre high falls remain a popular jumping spot for tourists. In 2012 a 19-year-old German tourist died after jumping from the falls with her friends.

drive on the left and according to Quora.com they also mention how its people radiate extreme friendliness.
But there are certainly some things NOT to do there!

1. Don't confuse New Zealand with Australia!
It can be a sensitive topic, and people can get into all kinds of
irrational comparisons when challenged on the topic, like this one.

So you get there, but alass it's raining!
2.Don’t freak out about the rain
It’s not worth waiting for the rain to stop before you head out.
In ten-minute intervals you’ll be rained on, get sunburnt, or catch a
chill from a southerly

A Southerly is a cold wind that comes up from Antarctica. So take a fleece.

3: Forget Fashion!
Even Kiwis openly joke about the ugliness of their shorts.
New Zealand is a laid back sort of place with a relaxed dress code.
The summer uniform is shorts and jandals (flip-flops) or even barefoot; for the winter, just add a hoodie and beanie.

4. Don’t sunbathe!
Thanks to the hole in the ozone layer, the burn time in New Zealand is about 7-10 minutes in the summer. Wear sun protection at all times
You can ask any Kiwi kid and they’ll tell you to “Slip, Slop, Slap, and Wrap!”
(slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen, slap on a hat, and wrap on

5. Don’t stay indoors in the summer!
It’s just not allowed! No self-respecting Kiwi would waste a perfect day indoors when there’s so much going on outside, and would be horrified to think that you're missing out on all the cultural festivals, like the Lantern Festival at Chinese New Year, and Pasifika, one of the biggest Polynesian festivals in the world.
Even parks host local festivals, where you can bring a picnic and
enjoy the free concerts,
plays, or movies.

6. Don’t underestimate the cuisine
You just need to know where to look. Ask around and look down side streets to see where Kiwis are eating. You have to try a steak and cheese pie or a mince potato top, but don’t stop there. New Zealand is close to Asia, and they have a lot of good Asian food too.

7. Don’t miss the local music
With such a small population, it’s hard for New Zealand to attract
big name bands. (like Take That) There are many talented local musicians that have filled the void.

Gold Coast Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

Australia’s Gold Coast is in the heart of subtropical Queensland, rife with natural beauty and a human spirit dedicated to vitality, fun, and enjoying life. The skyline of Gold Coast practically dips its toes in the ocean, and much of the area is rich in lush greenery and waterfalls. The north coast of this city began as a vacation retreat in the 1850’s, and maintains its position as the Gold Coast’s heart and soul of entertainment and surfing.

Many Gold Coast tours begin in the north and work their way south. The atmosphere in the north is quite bustling, while the south coast has a slower vibe and is a bit more relaxed. Start your trip to Gold Coast with a trip to the SkyPoint observation deck, one of the Gold Coast sightseeing gems. The deck grants stunning views of area beaches, parks, and water.

Head south to Burleigh Heads next, where you will be met with a national park and ideal surf breaks. This area is known as an aboriginal gathering place. Once you’ve had your fill of sun-soaked activities in Burleigh Head, head even further south to Coolangatta, a gateway for international travelers and home to the likes of sheltered beaches, a river, and plenty of shady parkland.

Remember that Gold Coast also happens to be the theme park capital of Australia, which helps drive Gold Coast tourism and serves as a nice complement to the lazy beach life also available. After hitting the water for some surf, go to Dreamworld, which is the largest theme park in Australia, and get an adrenaline rush on one of the many rollercoasters. SeaWorld™ and Warner Bros.® Movie World™ are also nearby.

Top off your trip down under with a trip to Mount Tamorine, a 30 minute drive inland from the coast. On the ridge of a volcano, Mount Tamborine offers a bounty rainforest trails and you can sip on local wines in Tamborine Village.
