The Confederate Memorial State Historic Site is a state-owned property occupying 135 acres on the northern edge of Higginsville, Missouri. The site was established in 1952 to preserve what had been from 1891 to 1950 the Confederate Soldiers Home of Missouri.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as the Confederate Chapel, Cemetery and Cottage. The Confederate Chapel is a small, one-storied white frame structure with a square, two-storied projecting tower. The adjoining Confederate Memorial Cemetery is laid out in neat rows; each of the 723 graves is marked with a stone and inscription.The historic site offers tours, fishing ponds, and picnicking.

Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a public recreation area encompassing over 3,700 acres on the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, about five miles south of Camdenton, Missouri, in the United States. The state park's most notable feature is the ruins of Ha Ha Tonka, an early 20th-century stone mansion that was modeled after European castles of the 16th century. The park also features caves, sinkholes, and bluffs overlooking the lake. It is a prominent example of karst topography, which is geological formation shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock. A 70-acre portion of the park was designated as the Ha Ha Tonka Karst Natural Area in 1981.

9. Bridal Cave Camdenton
Bridal Cave is a cave located near Camdenton, Missouri, in Lake of the Ozarks. It takes its name from the Osage Native American legend of Conwee, the son of an Osage chief who desired to marry the daughter of the chief of the opposing tribe. He is said to have kidnapped her for this reason. She committed suicide, and later her companion was wed to Conwee's brother Prince Buffalo in Bridal Chapel. Historically, the first couple to be married were married in June 1949, just one year after the cave was opened to the public. Over 3000 weddings have taken place in this cave.

Driving Around Edwardsville, Illinois Playing The Trailer Chase Game

Ride along with me as I spend a good chunk of my morning in search of an empty trailer in Edwardsville, Illinois, across the river from Saint Louis, Missouri.

After delivering nearby the night before, I spent the night at our terminal in Edwardsville.

The place I delivered to didn't have any empty trailers last night, so I called it a day expecting there to be an available empty trailer in the morning.

Our next stop is in Neelys Landing in southeast Missouri to pick up a load to take to Houston, Texas. But before we can get the next load, we need an empty trailer!

This video documents some of what I go through when I have to go on an empty trailer chase, or as I like to call it; The Trailer Chase Game!

Dirt Biking at Cooper Creek ATV Area, Deepwater Missouri
Cooper Creek ATV Area is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Harry S. Truman Project and is the only area on Truman Lake that ATV’s and dirt bikes are allowed. Cooper Creek Park covers approximately 400 acres of hills, trails, and open riding. Use of the area is currently free of charge. There are all types of riding terrain in the park and it can be great. Hills, tough climbs, trails through woods, trails on beaches, trails in sand, mud, mud pits, and serious deep mud, water, deepwater, wide trails, rocks, rock ledges and a few open areas. It is great riding, a wonderful place for a parent and child to ride, or a family that can handle some challenges.

If the Reservoir gets above 20 feet, they usually close the riding area. When it is open, there are two types of water issues. First, when the Reservoir is high, the trails are limited and standing water can be a problem, though you can ride around it. Second, when it rains and groundwater is pushing up the top layer is a real mess and pretty much it becomes ATV with all-wheel drive and a winch.

Cooper Creek ATV area is located one mile east of the town of Deepwater and is easily accessible by State Highway 13 and Henry County Road SE700. The riding area’s boundaries are either fenced or signed.

Indianapolis, IN 2014 | 14 of 17 | Vandaila, IL to St Louis, MO

This segment picks up just West of Vandaila heading towards Pocahontas where I'll change out my Micro SD card and use the Men's room. Back on I-70 we'll pass East St. Louis and rather then to take the Poplar St. Bridge, we'll cruse over the brand new Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge into Missouri. The segment ends on a urban segment of I-70 between highways U and N in St. Louis.
