Little Edo (Old Tokyo) Tour - A Side Trip from Tokyo | Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan
Kawagoe is known locally as Koedo or Coedo or Little Edo and as you explore the city you can feel almost like you’ve stepped back in time to another era, a total contrast of modern city of Tokyo.
Kawagoe is an easy 30 minute train ride from Ikebukuro station in Tokyo on the Tobu Railway line.
The best way to get to Tokyo tower at evening
This is my favorite walking route. You can walk with the view of Tokyo tower. The view from Zojoji temple is the best! :)

You can walk to the beautiful Yamashita Park from Red Brick Warehouse around 20 minutes thru the Yamashita Rinko Line Promenade and enjoy beauttiful Yokohama Bay scenery. You can take the Seabass ferry across the bay and view the beautiful Yokohama Bay Bridge. The main attractions around this area are the Hikawa Maru museum ship and the Yokohama Marine Tower. The next destination will be China town which took around 10 minutes from Yokohama Marine Tower using the subway station underground tunnel.
