Taipei to Taichung Travel Guide (Rainbow Village & Zhong She Flower Farm)

Day trip outside Taipei to Taichung. Visit the ff:

[1] Rainbow Village

8:30AM - 6:00PM
No entrance fee

[2] Zhong She Flower Farm/Market

9:00AM - 6:00PM
Entrance + lunch: NTD350
Entrance only: NTD190

ITINERARY:
Taipei Main Stn (TRA) → Taichung Stn
Taichung Stn → Xinwuri Stn
**If you rode HSR, no need to ride the local train to Xinwuri. HSR Taichung is beside Xinwuri Stn (or New Wurih Stn) - confusing pero keribells!
Ride Bus #655 (or different bus # but same route) → Rainbow Village
✧ Rainbow Village ✧
Ride the bus back to Xinwuri Stn
Xinwuri Stn → Tai’an Stn
Walk or taxi to the Zhong She Guanguang Flower Market (we walked! No taxi when we arrived! ~1.6km, 20min walk)
✧ Zhong She Flower Farm ✧
Back to Tai’an Stn
Tai’an Stn → Taipei Main Stn

After enjoying our cups of Oolong Tea in Jiufen, we headed back to Taipei. On our third day in Taiwan, we visited the Liberty Square, commonly known as Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, erected in honor and memory of former President of the Republic of China.
Sakura or cherry blossoms around complex were the highlight of our stay!

After much anticipation, I finally had a chance to go to Modern Toilet restaurant. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! But don't take my word for it, watch the dang video already!
