Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the Pink City), are the 18th-century City Palace and Hawa Mahal, a former cloister for royal women, fronted by a 5-story pink-sandstone screen. Amer Fort, atop a nearby hill, was built by a Rajput prince in the early 1600s.

Falna railway station is the main railway station in Pali district, Rajasthan. Its code is FA. It serves Falna town. The station consists of 3 platforms. The platform is well sheltered. Many facilities including Water Vending Machine, Ticket Vending Machine, and sanitation. Falna Station equipped with 70kW solar power supply. Falna Railway station is a part of Delhi-Mumbai Dedicated Freight Corridor. Construction had already begun & completed within few years & will be electrified too.

Driving on Jaipur-Jodhpur Highway NH 25 (Near Beawar) - Rajasthan, India

NH 25 is a National Highway in India that connects Barmer and Beawar in the state of Rajasthan. It is 330 km long highway and passes through Jodhpur.
It has recently been upgraded to four lanes by the National Highways Authority of India.

Beawar is a city in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. It was the financial capital of Merwara state of Rajputana.
As of 2011, the population of Beawar is 3,42,935. It is located 184 km (114 mi) southwest of the state capital Jaipur, amidst Aravali hills.
The city used to be a major center of trade, especially in raw cotton, and used to have cotton presses and mills.

Barmer - Rajasthan Tourism

Barmer is among the larger districts in Rajasthan. Being in the western part of the state, it includes a part of the Thar Desert. Jaisalmer is to the north of this district while Jalore is in its south. Pali and Jodhpur form its eastern border and it shares a border with Pakistan in the west. Partially being a desert, this district has a large variation in temperature. The temperature in summer can rise up to 51 °C and falls to 0 °C in winter. Luni is the longest river in Barmer district. After travelling a length of almost 500 km, it passes through Jalore and merges in the marshy land of Runn of Kutch.

The Fort of Jalore.

Built between 8th and 10th Century, Jalore Fort is the main attraction of Jalore District in Rajasthan, India. The fort has four gigantic gates however it is approachable only from one side, after a two-mile (3 km) long serpentine ascent. The approach to the fort is from the north, up a steep, slippery road through three rows of fortification to a single rampart wall 6.1m (20ft) high. It takes a good two hours to climb. The fort is built on the lines of traditional Hindu architecture. It negotiates three distinct lines of defense. The Fort was is control of different Rajpoot Dynasty rulers like Paramars, Chauhans, Rathod etc. No wonder then, Jalore valiantly resisted wave after wave of Muslim invaders. Jalore eventually fell to the mighty Sultan of Delhi, Allauddin Khilji, at the turn of the 13th century, but was conquered soon after by the Rathores. No wonder too that this is where the Rathore rulers kept their treasure. The video was recorded by me using my Digicam during my visit to the Fort after a long steep climbing with my coleague. The fort is not maintained in a very good condition, infact getting a drinking water on the top becomes a problem. But, a definite recommended place to all the tourist who visit Jodhpur in odrer to get familiar with Rajpoot culture and history. One needs one whole day to see this place as its a tiring journey ascending and descending the hill and after that you need to take a good rest.
