Tombstone, Arizona
Recorded April 20-21, 2017
Tombstone is a historic city Arizona. It was one of the last wide-open frontier boomtowns in the American Old West. The town prospered from about 1877 to 1890, during which time the town's mines produced $40 to $85 million in silver bullion, the largest productive silver district in Arizona. Its population grew from 100 to around 14,000 in less than seven years. It is best known as the site of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

How an obese town lost a million pounds | Mick Cornett
Oklahoma City is a midsized town that had a big problem: It was among the most obese towns in America. Mayor Mick Cornett realized that, to make his city a great place to work and live, it had to become healthier too. In this charming talk, he walks us through the interlocking changes that helped OKC drop a collective million pounds (450,000 kilos).

Exploring Abandoned Volkswagen Graveyard - Hundreds of VW Bugs
On this explore, we are headed back to an amazing spot with some friends. Martin & Andy came into town and drove with us to an abandoned VW graveyard. Such a fun spot to visit all year round. Fran and I had been during the winter and it was beautiful. But now that the seasons have changed and summer has brought back a lot of colors to the trees, we decided to go back for another look. Deep in the woods are hundreds of old VW bugs, busses, and other models of cars left vacant and taken over by Mother Nature. We were all very excited to shoot so we wasted no time getting started. After an hour or so of shooting, our trip came to a temporary halt when the owner of the property approached me. He didn't seem very friendly at first. He started to get our info like he was calling the police. But after several minutes, he began to warm up to us and joke with us because he realized we meant no harm. He told us a back story to this location and then left us to continue shooting which was awesome. We all left there with a good amount of photos and were very satisfied with our explore. Andy & Martin left to go shoot the rest of the day as Fran & I headed home. Unfortunately Andy & Martin had their cameras confiscated later that night by police due to a failed explore. So their shots will have to wait until after court.

Basketball Is A Big Deal For The University Of Kansas: Allen Fieldhouse
Basketball Is A Big Deal For The University Of Kansas: Allen Fieldhouse - Basketball is big part of KU's culture. For one, the inventor of basket, Dr. James Naismith worked in KU as a basketball coach, teach physical education and be a chaplain.
KU basketballl team is also one of the top college basketball teams in the nation. In fact, they do have a museum-type/hall of athletics in their Allen Fieldhouse where all their trophies and history of athletes are displayed. They have several screens of memorable basketball plays they've done throughout the years.
From the hall, they have also displayed other athletes of KU who made it to the Olympics. They also have a whole wall called Hall of Fame where the pictures of all their top athletes are displayed.
Towards the back of the hall, they also have an interactive section where a guest can measure how high they can jump and how fast they can react to block a ball from an offensive team. It was pretty fun. We tried it. We weren't so good.
You can also measure your height and feet size compared to their athletes.
It is a must-see especially if you love college basketball.

We, Irwin and Victorina, have decided to quit our jobs, sell everything we have and go on an epic road trip of visiting all U.S. National Parks! Follow our journey - from letting go of our material possessions, preparing for the extended camping trip, and even the mistakes, joys, doubts and adventures we make along the way! We hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of Planet Earth.
Adventure begins in Feb 2017. We estimate this road trip will take us approximately 12 to 16 months. We know we will some amazing places and meet a lot of interesting people.
If you have an idea or suggestions for us for places to visit along the way, feel free to contact us!
NEW VIDEOS every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. If we miss a day, it is probably because we had no phone signal inside the park or we couldn't find any wifi access. If this is the case, we will upload our video as soon as we get any phone signal.
