Fukuoka, Japan (Royal Kyushu) [HD]
Fukuoka (福岡) is Kyushu's largest and one of Japan's ten most populated cities. Because of its closeness to the Asian mainland (closer to Seoul than to Tokyo), Fukuoka has been an important harbor city for many centuries and was chosen by the Mongol invasion forces as their landing point in the 13th century.

Japanese Photo Sticker Booths: Purikura Adventure ★ ONLY in JAPAN
Forget the selfie! It's time to discover the Japanese Purikura Photo Sticker Booths. It's hard to compete with the almighty smart phone these days, but the purikura “print club” booths have evolved into a US$50M a year industry and a place were one can be beamed into the professional model fantasy world – if only for 10 minutes.
Girls love them. Guys? Not so much, but hey – purikura are ONLY in JAPAN and it's certainly something everyone should try when visiting.
★ Dressing rooms
★ Props and costumes
★ High quality lens and digital cameras
★ Pop music in the photo booth
★ Studio quality soft lighting
★ Loads of photo enhancements like soft skin tones, large eyes, longer legs and the eternally young glow.
The usual price is 400 yen and the purikura experience takes about 10 minutes to complete from start to finish.
The steps seem to be:
★ Pick a booth and pay
★ Select the photo shoot corse
★ Photo shoot
★ Editing
★ Choose the layout
★ Get your photos and online digital copy
Note: Some machines send you on photo digitally for free and ask for a monthly fee of 315 yen to access the rest of the photos.
Please careful of these. Once you join, they can be challenging to cancel.
Purikura is about the experience as much as the pictures.
As photography technology evolves in Japan, what was once a trend in 1995 has turned into one of the best ways to mark your own personal history. Definitely stop in and take a purikura when in Japan.

Kujukushima Tenkaiho 九十九島 展海峰 8KHDR
Kujukushima is an archipelago of Rias coast lined with Sasebo City in Nagasaki Prefecture and the west coast of Kitamatsuura Peninsula to Hirado City.
All former Kitamatsuura-gun. The total number of islands is now officially set at 208. This is based on the 2001 survey by the Sasebo City, etc. on the Study on the Number Survey of the Ninety Nine Islands, but there are discords with the island definition. According to the field survey by Seiji Koji, author of “Seikai National Park – Kujukushima Island and Whole Island Picture Book” (Gebunsha), there are 216 on the basis that the plants are grown independently from other land areas at high tide .
Most of them are uninhabited islands and reefs, and there are four manned islands inhabited: Kuroshima, Takashima, and Maejima and Todarishima, which can be bridged from the mainland by a bridge.
Hirado lord Matsuura Shizuyama copied the name to the Ikuta Kujukushima island in Akita Prefecture. Taitaka Ino who visited the survey has left a lyrical song, saying, “Shinjyo no Ainoura (Aigamiura Aiura) Ikuno Jukushima Ikuno Matsubara”.
On the way to the Sasa river mouth, the north side is sometimes called the north ninety nine island and the south side is the south ninety nine island. In the South Kujukushima Island, a pleasure boat Pearl Queen departs from Saikai Pearl Sea Resort in Kagoshima, Sasebo City, and marine sports such as sea kayaking and yachts are popular. It has been selected as one of Japan's 100 views.
In addition, it is also a production area of oysters (both natural and aquaculture), and events by local fishermen's cooperatives are also held in winter.
Sasebo City has designated September 19th as the day of the ninety nine islands since 1999, and has held the ninety nine island festival at the Saikai Pearl Sea Resort the day before.
On April 20, 2018, it was certified to join the world's most beautiful Bay Club.

2013 Myouenji Fest, Rifle Demo
During the 4th weekend of October, the Myounji shrine in Ijuin City, Kagoshima prefecture, holds a festival commemorating a 1-day forced march by retreating samurai following the battle of Sekigahara. There are various activities both Saturday and Sunday, and a 20 km (12 mile) walk from Terukuni Shrine in Kagoshima City to Ijuin. I did the walk in 3.5 hours, then hung around the festival grounds to watch some of the stage shows. This one is a historical recreation group demonstrating the rifles used during that battle. The camera is shaky because my legs were giving out and the crowd was cleared away from the chairs to prevent burns from the used wadding.
