Explore KALAHANDI (Part - 2) | Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary | Khairpadar | Odisha Tourism
Let's explore KALAHANDI.
This time I chose to travel free to my native place, KALAHANDI(Means – POT FILLED OF ARTS). Many of you might not be knowing about this place and the rest might be knowing from the history of this place. A few decades back, it was known as the “Drought Capital of India”. Although i will show you from a different perspective, but due to strong diversity and enriched Flora and Fauna, it got connected with the Nature. By the passage of time, it got known for many tourist spots(Which are not yet famous enough but can surely make it to your Travel Wish-list). I would name a few like, Phurlijharan Waterfall, Rabandara Waterfall, Dokrichachra, Gudahandi Caves, Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary, Khairpadar(Nationally Recognized for Wooden Crafts), and The Soul of Kalahandi – MAA MANIKESWARI TEMPLE.
It's a place with divine culture being engraved with nature and one of the best places to visit in Odisha and would definitely say that, this place is perfect for Odisha Tourism.
