LIKE. SUBSCRIBE. SHARE. lots on new content on the way.
This was a 2 day trip to 3 different province around Thailand
The first day we drove to Lopburi which is about 2 hours from Bangkok. Very few tourists here but it is worth visiting to see the infamous monkey temples. You can walk around and feed and play with the monkeys, it was awesome. Entrance is free.
Next we visited King Narai's palace in Lopburi. Entrance was free this day due to the passing of the previous King.
From there we drove to Khao Chin Lae which is a large mountainous area 40 minutes drive from Lopburi city. I was the only foreigner in sight, it was lovely. Nice temples here and an incredible view if you can get up the 436 steps to the top.
We then moved on to Saraburi which is famous for its huge sunflower fields. They are only really seen in this particular province on such a large scale. Extremely beautiful for sunset and very popular among thais.
The following day, we departed from Saraburi and drove 2 hours to Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Siam. Famous for its fantastic ruins and ancient temples. Very beautiful city and only 40 minutes from Bangkok. It makes a good day trip.

Khao Phra Wihan National Park (อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาพระวิหาร) is a protected natural area in Sisaket Province, Thailand that contains numerous ruins of the ancient Khmer period. This area has received much media attention owing to a border dispute.
This park is the Thai gateway to Cambodia's Prasat Preah Vihear and takes its name from the Thai translation of the temple's Khmer name. The other entrance to the temple is from Cambodia's Preah Vihear province. The entrance to the park and temple ruins is generally open to everyone and no Cambodian visa is required but on occasion is closed due to Cambodian-Thai political tensions. This park is situated in the currently 4.6 km² overlapping area awarded to Cambodia by the International Court of Justice in 1962, but still claimed by Thailand.[1]
One of the highlights of the park (aside from the temple) is a nearby cliff just east of the promontory on which Prasat Preah Vihear resides, which allows a good overall view of the temple complex about 1/2 mile away. Also from this location a mysterious artwork is visible along a narrow, dangerous cliffside path which leads down towards the temple on the east side of the cliff and is blocked by a large gate about 15 metres (50ft) down. The artwork is a relief sculpture carved into the cliff just beyond the gate. The origin and type of characters depicted has been speculated on greatly since they do not seem to match known Khmer (Cambodian) or Buddhist styles.

KAWASAN FALLS CANYONEERING CEBU ISLAND, PHILIPPINES 2017
KAWASAN FALLS CANYONEERING CEBU ISLAND, PHILIPPINES 2017
We visited the Philippines for 2 weeks. The 1st week was spent travelling around Cebu island which is a large island 1 hour flight away from Manila.
More videos from our trip to Bohol and Palawan coming shortly....
Locations:
1. Moalboal, This is one the west coast of the island and is well known for excellent scuba diving which we didn't have time to do this time round. So we settled with a snorkeling trip to Pescador island.
2. Badian. It is here where the infamous Kawasan Falls is located. It is also a great afternoon out canyoneering downsteam to the falls.
We managed to do Pescador island and Badian canyoneering all in the same day thanks to the incredible organisation we went with, Kawasan Canyoneering. From the morning, they were so well organised and me and my girlfriend had our own private guide for both activities. It was excellent, and very cheap too! Only 3000 php each for the day.
It was one of the highlight days for me personally in the Philippines and I can't recommend it enough.
