Kara-Suu is a town in Osh Region, Kyrgyzstan, in the Fergana Valley. The town is 23 km northeast of Osh and is the capital of Kara-Suu District. It is a major industrial and trade center, on the border with Uzbekistan. On the other side of the border is the town Qorasuv . After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Uzbek authorities destroyed the main bridge across the river, but cross-border trade continued via improvised ropeways that ferried goods and people across.     Koshoy Korgon or Qoshoy Qorgon is a ruined fortress of uncertain date located in At-Bashy District, Kyrgyzstan. The structure, which consists of walls made of mud enclosing a large area and is identified as a korgon , is immediately to the southeast of Kara-Suu village, and a little ways west of At-Bashy village. It is named after Qoshoy baatyr, one of Manas's generals, who is thought to have been a catalyst for its construction. There is an on-site museum for tourists that is rarely open.

When we travelled on our epic adventure through Kyrgyzstan we were lucky to have the drone in our backpacks. We made these incredible video footage for you. Kyrgyzstan has such spectacular landscape and the word epic is a perfect match for this country!

We took the drone to an adventurous more day trek through the mountains of Kyrgyzstan (one of Kyrgyzstans Highlights), to horse trekking and to some day hikes. The kyrgyz hospitality is just incredible and the food they have is absolutely delicious!

We fell in love with Kyrgyzstan and hope to come back one day!

Kirgistan gehört zu den Ländern, die wirklich noch abseits der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade liegen. Du kannst hier noch richtige Abenteuer erleben. Auf unserer Reise durch Kirgistan packten wir unsere Drohne ein, um dieses unglaubliche Land aus der Vogelperspektive zu filmen und um die besten Kirgistan Sehenswürdigkeiten und Reisetipps festzuhalten.

Die kirgisische Landschaft ist atemberaubend schön und das Wort episch trifft hier einfach überall zu. Wir waren und sind absolut überwältigt von diesem tollen Land!

Wir hatten die Drohne bei den abenteurlichsten Wanderungen dabei, beim Horse Trekking und sogar im Jurten Camp, in dem wir übernachteten. Die kirgisische Gastfreundschaft ist grenzenlos und die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten musst du unbedingt probieren!

Kelsuu lake off-road adventure - Kyrgyzstan

This amazing trip took place on August 2016.
Our goal was to visit one mystery lake on the border between Kyrgyzstan and China.
