Girish Kasaravalli, Indian filmmaker on his film Kraurya
Girish Kasaravalli got the recognition as a filmmaker after winning National award for film Ghatashraddha in 1977. After this, most of his films got the National award. He is again in limelight with his new film Kraurya in 1996.
Girish Kasaravalli, Indian filmmaker speaks about his film Kraurya. He says, They move place to place in search of solace, the old lady is looking for a permanent place t have some kind of a satisfaction. In that process, we understand how the relationship in the family and getting slightly dehumanized. As a backdrop, we are using a family which has people of three different generations and the old lady here in the film using the habit of narrating, she keeps narrating tall tales.
