Spirit of Tasmania - Flavours of Tassie Showcase Goaty Hill Wines
What are the ingredients for a fantastic and uniquely Tasmanian wine? Well, Natasha Nieuwhof knows and has been proving it at her Goaty Hill Vineyard located in the Tamar Valley. Goaty Hill is a family owned and operated business that has been turning out brilliant cool climate wines for over fifteen years. The unique climate of Tassie, with its four distinct seasons and extensive ripening period adds rich complexity to the fruit.
Natasha invites you to try the naturally rich and developed flavours of Goaty Hill wines on board the Spirit of Tasmania as part of the Flavours of Tassie showcase. She will be there to simulate the cellar door experience directly with you on board the ship. As you taste the wine, you'll be talked through the process of its creation and Natasha will answer any questions you happen to have. She'll share her passion and love for winemaking and have you itching to visit Goaty Hill in person to savour the serene natural environment where these incredible wines are created.
Don't miss the chance to sample their 2006 Riesling which has won a number of gold medals and trophies from various wine fairs -- it's not every day you get the chance to taste such a pristine Tasmanian drop. See you on board Spirit of Tasmania!
