Kiryat Tiv'on is a town in the Haifa District of Israel, in the hills between the Zvulun and Jezreel valleys. Kiryat Tiv'on is situated 15 kilometres southeast of Haifa, on the main road to Nazareth. Kiryat Tiv'on is the result of the municipal merger of several older settlements, Tiv'on , Elro'i , Kiryat HaRoshet and Kiryat Amal . On the outskirts of Tiv'on is a Bedouin township called Basmat Tab'un. In 2017 it had a population of 17,717.

In Roman times, Beit She'an was the leading city of the Decapolis. In modern times, Beit She'an serves as a regional center for the settlements in the Beit She'an Valley. The ancient city ruins are now protected within the Beit She'an National Park.

is a wide-latitude road in northern Israel. The road leads from Acre in the west to the Amiad junction in the east, where it meets with Route 90. The length of the road is 47 kilometers. In the city of Acre, the road bears the name Ben-Ami Street.

The popular name of the road is the Acre-Safed road, following the old route of the road prior to its extension in 1980.

הוא כביש רוחב ארצי בצפונה של ישראל. הכביש מוביל מעכו במערב לצומת עמיעד במזרח, שם הוא נפגש עם כביש 90. אורכו של הכביש 47 קילומטר. בתחומי העיר עכו נושא הכביש את השם רחוב בן-עמי.

שמו העממי של הכביש הוא 'כביש עכו-צפת', בעקבות מסלולו הישן של הכביש קודם להארכתו ב־1980.

טיול אל גן לאומי בית שערים ואל פסל אלכסנדר זייד השומר - Beit Shearim National Park

תמונות שצילמתי במהלך טיול שערכנו ביום העצמאות בשנת 2010 אל הגן הלאומי בית שערים ואל פסלו של השומר - אלכסנדר זייד.

גן לאומי בית שערים של רשות הטבע והגנים הוא למעשה בית קברות בתוך מערות המכילות יותר מ-30 מערכות קבורה תת-קרקעיות, מהמפוארות בישראל. בית שערים היתה עיר עברית מאז תקופת המשנה והתלמוד. רבי יהודה הנשיא - עורך המשנה בחר להיקבר בבית שערים. בבית העלמין נמצאו למעלה מ-300 כתובות קבר בשפות עברית, יוונית, ארמית ותדמורית המעידות על מוצא הנקברים, עיסוקיהם וקשריהם המשפחתיים. גם בניו של רבי יהודה הנשיא - בניו קבריהם של בניו של רבי יהודה הנשיא - רבי שמעון ורבי גמליאל נמצאו בבית שערים.

משם המשכנו אל פסל אלכסנדר זייד המכונה השומר. זהו אתר לאומי הממוקם בקרבת הגן הלאומי בית שערים. האנדרטה היא פסל של זייד, רכוב על סוס ומשקיף על עמק יזרעאל. את הפסל יצר הפסל דוד פולוס. אלכסנדר זייד היה ממקימי ארגוני השמירה בר גיורא, השומר, הקיבוץ ואגודת השומרים, ומהאישים הבולטים בעלייה השנייה. זייד נרצח בשנת בתקופת המרד הערבי הגדול. על שמו נקרא מושב בית זייד ליד קריית טבעון.

Photos I took during a trip we made on Independence Day of Israel in 2010 to Beit Shearim National Park and the statue of the guard - Alexander Zaid in Israel.

Beit Shearim National Park of Parks is actually a cemetery in caves containing more than 30 systems buried underground - underground, Magnificent Israel. From there we went to the statue of Alexander Zaid machine guard. This is a national site located near Beit Shearim National Park. The monument is a statue of Zeid, on horseback and overlooks the Jezreel Valley. The sculptor created the statue of David Paul. Alexander Zaid was one of the founders protection organizations Bar Giora, guard, grouping and Agudat guards and the main figures of the Second Aliyah. Zaid was killed in the period of the Great Arab Revolt. His name is called Moshav Beit Zaid near Kiryat Tivon.

The road starts from Route 90 in Eilat in the south and climbs west to the Eilat Mountains. It reaches the Israeli-Egyptian border and passes the closed Natafim crossing. From there, the road continues north along the Egyptian border, and at the Sayarim Junction it meets Road 10. Route 12 continues north-east, north of the Eilat Mountains, through Ovda Airport to the Shizafon intersection in the north, where it meets Route 40. The total length of the road 12 is 71 km:
