Trang Thailand: Thai Street Food, Islands, Beaches and Markets. 2 Days in Trang Thailand Vlog
Subscribe: NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY. 2 Days in Trang Thailand. Islands, Beaches, Markets and Thai Street Food. Holidays in Thailand Vlog
Trang Thailand is a great place for holidaying and touring. It’s largely unknown and is not at all touristy, but it has all things tourists love to see: beautiful beaches, unspoiled tropical islands, stunning waterfalls and amazing national parks. There’s also great food available there and it is inhabited by very friendly people. It’s definitely worth a visit to Trang! This video is a vlog I made while on a short family holiday at Christmas time.
The video features the activities we did in Trang: visiting night markets and food markets, sightseeing at the beaches and touring the islands of Trang. We had a great time there.
The places in the video (in the order that they appear) are:
Yao Beach 7.309742, 99.394914
Thumrin Thana Hotel: 7.560701, 99.603956
Trang Walking Street (Open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday night from 5pm till 10pm): 7.554771, 99.604839
Trang Morning Market (Open every day from 5am till 9am): 7.557598, 99.603735
Pak Meng Beach: 7.483755, 99.331736
Trang Night Market (Open every night from 5pm till 10pm): 7.559424, 99.610906
Pak Meng Market (Open every Monday from pm till 7pm): 7.495275, 99.327777
You’ll find street food on many street corners in Thailand, be it in Trang, Krabi or Phuket and at all of the markets. Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, and heaps around Phuket. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily for 4 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

Top Tips for your Holiday to Thailand with a Baby or Toddler
Thailand is one of our favorite destinations to visit with kids.
On this trip, we spent time in Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak, Koh Lak, Koh Kradan and Koh Lipe.
We traveled through Thailand with our 2-year-old toddler and wanted to share some thoughts on whether you should visit Thailand with a baby or toddler.
So here are the pros and cons about visiting Thailand with a baby or toddler.
Here are the PROS of going on a family holiday to Thailand with a baby.
1) You can top up on baby supplies easily
2) The people are incredibly welcoming towards kids
3) Most Airbnb's and hotels had baby cots included - free of cost.
4) Most restaurants either have a kids menu or will be happy to cook something special for your little one.
5) High chairs are readily available at most restaurants
6) Thailand is stroller-friendly
7) Lots of pools and beaches which is perfect for little ones
8) English is well spoken here so you can always ask questions.
Here are the NEGATIVES of going on a vacation to Thailand with your baby or toddler.
1) Thailand gets VERY HOT over a few months in the year - best to avoid these months if you can
2) You need to be sensible when it comes to water and food in Thailand - give your little one some pre-biotics to strengthen the gut before you go.
We understand that other families might have completely different experiences as they travel around Thailand and we invite you to share your experiences in our comments below to help families with young kids to decide whether this is the country for them.

Koh Kradan is a small beautiful island close to Koh Lanta. There are a few hotels and beach bungalows available to stay over night.
The island can be reached by speedboat and is also part of the 4 island tour.

Koh Ngai & Ko Ngai I Thailand 2019
Koh Ngai (Ko Ngai) it's an island you do not want to leave, away from places filled with tourists.
Located in Krabi Province, but can better be reached via Trang Province on the southern Andaman Coast. Like many other coastal destinations in southern Thailand, it is known for its diving and long white beaches.
It's best to get there from Pak Meng Ferry Terminal or Kuangtungku Pier by a long boat or a public boat.
We recommend a very atmospheric place to spend time on the island and sleep like the Sea Camp Tent & Hostel.
