On the Go in Manado 8: The Southeast Coast of North Sulawesi
I had a plan as to where I wanted to spend the night when I left Kotamobagu. I was going to Lake Mo-at.... But there was no place to stay there. What to do next? Just continue on and hopefully find someplace to stay eventually. It was a Bates Motel like place I finally found...
where to go in Manado, local style.
Day 3, 4 and 5 in Manado.
First 2 days were about Wedding Rehearsal and Wedding Day.
Third Day, family gathering at my parents-in-laws' house in Koya, just a post-wedding celebration. We ate a lot of authentic local food and danced the whole afternoon!
Fourth Day, we had island excursion to Lihaga! Yaynesss, it's one of my fave destination in Manado. The beach is so calm, shallow and crystal clear. It's like a natural swimming pool, a giant one. Then at night had dinner at Tuna House and got some desserts at MamiNon.
Last Day, we visited Taman Hutan Raya Gunung Tumpa H.V. Worang. The view was amazing! People often go there for paragliding.
All in all, it was one fun trip!! See you next time Manado.

Sudah lama kami berdua berencana untuk mendaki Gunung Ambang di Boltim, akhirnya dengan adanya kesempatan hal ini terlaksana. Pengalaman mistis saat hanya berdua diatas Gunung Ambang terjadi saat kami sadar pada hari itu hanyalah kami pendaki yang mendaki Gunung Ambang ini.
Pendakian ini bisa dikatakan kami lakukan dengan nekat, mengingat kami berdua belum pernah kesana, dan minimnya informasi yang kami peroleh lewat internet. Namun setiap pendakian pasti mempunyai tantangan yang harus kami lewati dan cerita yang akan terangkai.
