Krekhiv is a village in the Lviv Oblast of Ukraine, located within the densely forested Roztochia Upland about 10 km west of Zhovkva and 50 km north of Lviv at around 50°2′56″N 23°48′43″E. The village is famous for its Basilian monastery which is a popular pilgrimage site. The monastery was established in the 16th century by two monks from the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, Joel and Silvester, who settled in nearby caves. Around 1612 or 1618 the owner of Zhovkva, Stanisław Żółkiewski offered the monks land to build their monastery, later surrounded with fortifications during the second half of the 17th century to defend it from roaming Tatar hordes...

Pidhirtsi Castle is a residential castle-fortress located in the village of Pidhirtsi in Lviv Oblast western Ukraine, located eighty kilometers east of Lviv. It was constructed by Guillaume Le Vasseur de Beauplan between 1635–1640 by order of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth's Grand Crown Hetman Stanisław Koniecpolski, on the place of the older fortress. The castle was then part of the Kingdom of Poland and it is regarded as the most valuable of palace-garden complexes in the eastern borderlands of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

The XVI CEREAN Conference

The XVI CEREAN Conference -- Сentral European Real Estate Assosiations will take place on 7-9 October in Lviv, Ukraine.

The theme of the Conference is «International experience of optimal solutions on the real estate services market».

The purpose of the Conference - sharing of best international practice on real estate activity, its regulation and efficiency of cooperation of professional market players, the harmonization of relations with consumers of real estate services, public and government bodies.
The conference is for:

Owners and top managers of real estate agencies
