  • 11. Teleborg Castle Vaxjo
    Teleborg Castle is beautifully situated near Lake Trummen, 4–5 km south of the city centre of Växjö, Sweden. Despite its medieval style, the castle was built in 1900 by architect firm Lindvall & Boklund. The castle was built as a wedding present from count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö to his wife Anna Koskull. 17 years later the couple had died, and the castle was used as a girls' school and rental accommodation. In 1964 the city of Växjö bought it and the surrounding park from the Bonde family, and today it is used mainly as an entertaining, wedding and conference venue. The nearby university also uses some parts of the castle.

    The Museum of Legends, or Sagomuseet in Swedish, is a museum in Ljungby, Sweden, for oral narration, fairy tales, and folklore. The museum is operated by the UNESCO Accredited Advisor and non-profit association Sagobygden that protects the oral narrative and contributes to the continuation of the oral narrative traditions. Together with the Storytelling Network Kronoberg they also arrange the Storytelling Festival in Ljungby. In March 2017 the Government of Sweden nominated Sagobygden, the operator of the Museum of Legends, to UNESCO's register of good examples on the preservation of intangible heritage.While the museum itself offer an condensed experience of the regional folklore, the Storytelling Network Kronoberg maintain several legendary places around Kronoberg.

  • 14. Ljungbergmuseet Ljungby
    Ljungbergmuseet is a museum located in Ljungby, Sweden, and is Kronoberg County's official museum of visual art. The museum is located in Ljungby city center next to the home and atelier of Sven Ljungberg and Ann Margret Dahlquist-Ljungberg. Some of the permanent exhibitions is dedicated to their works. The museum was designed by their son, the architect Pontus Ljungberg, and was built in stages between 1990 and 2002. The foundation Sven och Ann Margret Ljungbergs Stiftelse was created in 1989 with the purpose of constructing a picture warehouse, but the idea was soon transformed into a museum instead. The museum was inaugurated by the then current minister of culture Bengt Göransson. In 2012 it became the official visual art museum for Kronoberg County.
