Austrian Time
Austrian Time - We journeyed through the alpine hillsides and villages for nearly a week meeting the kind and generous people of Austria. They introduced us to amazing Austrian architecture, majestic mountainous hikes and the all natural food that came from farms and lands all around the villages. We even tasted and learned about schnapps from the most famous breweries. If there is a place to visit, it is Austria!

Austria Travel Guide - The Architecture of Helblinghaus in Innsbruck
Take a tour of Helblinghaus in Innsbruck, Austria -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
The Austrian city of Innsbruck is known for its flamboyant and vibrant architecture.
Standing amidst an avenue of gorgeous town houses is the spectacular Helblinghaus.
This late medieval house was once built in Gothic style architecture.
It was only around 1730 that the building was adorned with the stunning rococo stucco work that can be seen on it today.
This structure is named after Sebastian Helbling, who owned and managed a café here in the early 19th century.
Accentuated with graceful embellishments of leaves, tendrils, flowers, cherubs, shells and masks, this ornate building brings a sparkle to the city's skyline.

Oberstdorf is a municipality and skiing and hiking town in southwest Germany, located in the Allgäu region of the Bavarian Alps. Oberstdorf is one of the highest market towns in Germany. The southernmost point in Germany is located in the municipality of Oberstdorf . At the center of Oberstdorf is a church whose tall spire serves as a landmark for navigating around town. The summits of the Nebelhorn and Fellhorn provide dramatic panoramic views of the alps. The Nebelhorn can be reached with a big cable car. Visitors can ride a unique diagonal elevator to the top of the Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze.
Oberstdorf consists of the village of Oberstdorf (813 metres above sea level, survey point by the Roman Catholic church) and five other villages:
