Impression of the flat and wide area of Friesland, Netherlands

I had a reunion with my old classmates from de sixties in the previous century at Stiens in the Province Friesland of the Netherlands. This is a village near Leeuwarden. Some of my classmates and I myself live in the Netherlands more als 250 km from Friesland so we overnight there and visit also some other places nearby. In the presentation you see how flat and wide the area there is without many trees. You also see the typical terpchurches there in some villages. They are build on a little hill to protect them against high water in earlier times.
