Our first visited site was Gripsholm castle located in Mariefred town, approximately 60km from Stockholm.
This Renaissance castle is really worth to see because the environment astonishes by its beauty - surrounded by Mälaren lake and cute park. We would say it is a perfect place to get to know about Sweden's heritage and have a nice picnic!
Then we moved on to see Stora Sundy castle sited in Stora Sunby town. On the way we saw steam train! So incredible! Not often you can see that thing and most importantly to take a ride in it! Great attraction.
So, we reached the next castle and it was really impressing view. Quite area and huge castle in front of us. We still inspired by the number of windows - 365! Nice. While it's the private castle, you can explore from pretty close distance( 20SEK), just not inside!
