The Arboretum de la Foux , also known as the Arboretum de Saint-Sauveur-des-Pourcils, is an arboretum located within the Forêt de l'Aigoual near Saint-Sauveur-Camprieu, northwest of Le Vigan, Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum was created 1900-1910 for experimental introduction of foreign species into France. Scientific efforts ceased in 1963, and it has subsequently been maintained for educational purposes by the Office national des forêts. The site is on a southwest slope between 900 and 1500 metres altitude in an environment very conducive to forest vegetation; some trees reach heights that are recor...

1. Lac de Sainte-Croix Sainte Croix Du Verdon
The Lake of Sainte-Croix is a man-made lake that was formed by the construction, between 1971 and 1974 of a reinforced-concrete arch dam by the name of Dam of Sainte-Croix. The reservoir holds a maximum of 761 million cubic metres of water. The dam, which generates 142 million kWh of electricity per year, is 94 metres high, 7.5 metres thick at its base and 3 metres thick at its crest. The village that can be seen adjacent to the lake, however, is not the eponymous village of Sainte-Croix-de-Verdon but Les Salles-sur-Verdon. The original village is now completely underwater. The other villages around the lake are: Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon Bauduen Les Salles-sur-Verdon

Allos is a French commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France.

Allos is a high mountain commune in the southern Alps.

The commune has two ski-stations:

Val d'Allos-La Foux, which links to the Pra Loup ski area

2012 Cirque de Navacelles - Frankrijk

Gelegen boven het kleine dorp Navacelles en nabij Saint Maurice de Navacelles, vormt het Cirque de Navacelles (keteldal van Navacelles) een geologisch spektakel, uniek in Europa. Vanaf de top van een duizelingwekkend balkon, is het Cirque de Navacelles, een reusachtige trechtervormig kom uitgediept door de verzakking van de plateaus, een van de meest indrukwekkende locaties om te bezichtigen. Onderin het steilwandige erosiedal, 300 meter lager dan het kalksteenplateau, valt La Vis in watervallen naar Navacelles. Het dorp hangt aan de rotsen en de gecultiveerde velden omringen een klein kalkreliëf. Het geheel bestaat uit hellingen bedekt met rotsen die een groot amfitheater afbeelden, waarvan de kalkstaven de rijen banken zouden kunnen vormen.

Showcase SURVIVOR Episode 1, Round 1: Italy vs France - January 29 2017

NEW series! We're trying to find the best pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. To do that, we decided to pit them against each other in a knockout tournament. Ten pavilions will face off in Round 1, and one of them will face the USA pavilion in Round 2. (USA gets a bye because 'MERICA, that's why.)

To kick things off, we've got Italy going up against France, and if it weren't a battle of the Epcot pavilions, it would be something out of UEFA.
