Laukaa is a municipality of Finland. It is located next to Jyväskylä and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 18,931 and covers an area of 825.59 square kilometres of which 177.09 km2 is water. The population density is 29.19 inhabitants per square kilometre . Laukaa's neighbouring municipalities are Hankasalmi, Jyväskylä, Konnevesi, Toivakka, Uurainen and Äänekoski. The municipality is unilingually Finnish. There are all together 129 lakes in Laukaa. Biggest lakes in Laukaa are Lievestuoreenjärvi, Kuusvesi, Leppävesi and Lake Uurainen.

1. Nokkakivi Amusement Park Laukaa
Nokkakivi is an amusement park in Lievestuore, Finland. It is the newest amusement park in Finland, although for the time being it has only a limited number of pre-owned rides on its ride list. Nokkakivi park is, however, notable because it is one man's dream come true, instead of being established by an organization which is the case with other Finnish amusement parks. One ride is especially notable in the Nokkakivi park because of its long operational history in Finnish amusement parks. Round Up has been in three other Finnish amusement parks: 1961-1976 in Linnanmäki, 1977 in Särkänniemi and 1986-2002 in Tykkimäki, before it came to Nokkakivi park for its opening season.

2. Puijo Tower Kuopio
The Puijo tower is an observation tower at the top of Puijo hill in Kuopio, Eastern Finland. Opened in 1963, the tower is 75 metres tall and has a revolving restaurant with 100 seats. It was the first tower with a revolving restaurant in the Nordic countries. The restaurant was an inspiration to Erkki Lindfors, the mayor of Tampere, who got the idea to build a similar one in his home town, resulting in the Näsinneula tower, which opened in 1971. The current Puijo tower has been visited by over 5.5 million tourists. The current tower is the third overall. When it was completed in 1963 the second one, built in 1906, was dismantled. The first tower was built in 1856. On the western side of the tower there are three ski jumping hills.

Ähtäri is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The town has a population of 5,788 and covers an area of 910.87 square kilometres of which 105 km2 is water. The population density is 7.19 inhabitants per square kilometre . The municipality is unilingual Finnish. Ähtäri is known for its zoo and hotel Mesikämmen designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen which is partly built within bedrock. The biggest lake in the area is Ähtärinjärvi. There is also a relatively old and small board mill called Vääräkosken Pahvi in Ähtäri. The largest private sector employers are Inhan Tehtaat, Silver-Veneet, Tankki, and Muovilami.

As they say, you can cut the flowers, but you cannot stop Spring from coming. Spring is finally here, in Finland, with all its charming beauty and color. One fine day in Jyvaskyla, I tried to capture the glowing blossoms, glittering waters, and delighted nature around me. Enjoy the vigorous sunshine in this video and stay happy. :)

Hitonhaudan rotko syyskuussa 2011

Hitonhauta gorge in Laukaa, Central Finland, is about 400 m long, 15-50 m wide and 10-20 m deep. There is a small cave, a little waterfall and a pond in the middle of the gorge. The damp bottom of the gorge is filled with sharp boulders eroded from the steep granite walls, which makes the footpath quite tricky in places. The vegetation is mainly dense spruce forest with some rare species, and the gorge is protected as a nature conservation area. Like most Finnish gorges, Hitonhauta was flushed clean of debris during the ice age by huge glacial meltwater streams.

Sommartid skulle hon segla från Åbo till Visby och Stockholm, från september till december skulle hon göra Stockholmskryssningar, samt 24-timmarskryssningar. Vintertid var det meningen att hon skulle uthyras till någon resebyrå för kryssningar i Medelhavet eller Karibien. Sommarsäsongen gick hyfsat, men ej på vinst.
