A Drive Up The Coast: California 1 Shoreline Highway, All The Way
You could take I-5 or US 101 to get from San Francisco to northern California, but why not kick back and take in all the views, the curves, and the foggy, salty air along the coast? This drive takes you all the way from the Golden Gate Bridge to the end of Highway 1 at Leggett, California. Gorgeous Views, Arches and Waterfalls near Lone Pine CA
On this Airstream Life vLog, we enjoy a spectacular sunrise at the Tuttle Creek Campground. Watching the Sierra Nevadas light up was magical! Then Steve tilts our solar panels for the first time to improve output and it works! Next, we go on an adventure first to the Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills and then to the waterfall at the Mt Whitney trailhead. Amazing! We had never seen a waterfall with ice and snow before.

Bridgeport, California is a small town located in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains along Highway 395, about 100 miles south of Reno and 300 miles north of Los Angeles. This quaint town is known for one of the Sierra's best hamburgers and soft-serve ice cream at Jolly Kone, great fishing, an exciting mining heritage and the world-famous Travertine Hot Springs.
