Litija is a town in the Litija Basin in central Slovenia. It is located in the valley of the Sava River, east of the capital Ljubljana, in the traditional region of Upper Carniola. The entire municipality is now included in the Central Sava Statistical Region; until January 2014 it was part of the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. The town is home to about 6,500 people.

Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It was established in its modern form in 1981 and is located in the northwestern part of the country, respectively the southeastern part of the Alpine massif. Mount Triglav, the highest peak of Julian Alps, stands almost in the middle of the national park. From it the valleys spread out radially, supplying water to two large river systems with their sources in the Julian Alps: the Soča and the Sava, flowing to the Adriatic and Black Sea, respectively.

In de komende vlogs zal ik wat laten zien van mijn reis door Slovenië. Mijn vlog begint rustig met een verhaal over de heenreis naar Griže. Met helaas wat vertraging onderweg, een boiler die nog niet aan zou staan, elektriciteit die niet werkte en dode vliegjes begon onze reis misschien niet zo super als geplannend. Dat neemt niet weg dat mijn vriend en ik ons enorm hebben vermaakt in de kou! Enjoy ;)!
