Pistyll Rhaeadr - The Magical and highest waterfall in Wales
Pistyll Rhaeadr is an enchanting waterfall in the Berwyn Mountains, just inside Wales, west of Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
At 240ft (80m) high it is the UK tallest single drop waterfall. This much-loved waterfall captivating all who visit her. People have returned, generation after generation to take in the spirit and presence of this Special place. Many visitors mention how quickly they come to a sense of peace and reverence within themselves, seldom found in today's busy and fragmented world It is a great place to explore the Berwyn Mountains and surrounding hills, with many walks on all levels to suit a variety of walkers.

Powys - Llanfyllin 4K
A beautiful small town (don't say village to the locals, it brings out the worst!) hidden between the hillsides within the county of Powys, an ancient kingdom covering a large proportion of Wales and the English Midlands following the withdrawal of Romans from Britain. What a lovely part of the country and well worth visiting. There are lots of scenic places to visit nearby, including Lake Vrnwy.

Waterfalls in Wales - Pistyll Rhaeadr a Druid Learning Centre
One of the many wonders of North Wales is Pistyll Rhaeadr where peace and tranquility can be found. This is the longest waterfall in Wales and is more than twice the drop of Niagara. A beautiful location nestled into the Berwyn Mountain range at about 15 miles east of Oswestry.
Knighton, Powys, Wales, Welsh Marches, UK.
Lying on the border of England and Wales, standing on Offa's Dyke, Knighton (Tref-y-Clawdd) gives the visitor a glimpse of perhaps what small towns were like several decades ago. As well as possessing an interesting variety of shops, pubs, and a library and museum too, more than anything there is a feeling of tranquillity to the place. Crows hop and caw in the quiet side streets; we came across what looked like the abandoned remnants of a garage sale; then just around the corner a shopping trolley with a child's plastic seaside bucket containing a crab, adding an appealing quirkiness to the town.
The Dyke was built toward the end of the 8th Century by King Offa to separate the kingdoms of Mercia from Wales. It ran for 149 miles from Chepstow to Prestatyn and some 80 miles of The Dyke is still traceable today.

River Isla - Reekie Linn
I filmed Reekie Linn Waterfall on the River Isla on 22 September 2012. Although the Isla runs through Perthshire where it joins the River Tay, Reekie Linn is on the Angus side of the border, just north of Alyth.
There's a car park next to the Bridge of Craigisla. From there the path to the waterfall runs along the top of a deep gorge with a sheer drop of 45 metres (150 feet) so please take care.
