Ocean Beach California, very cool place to visit, very laid back and close to Dog Beach and home to the second longest pier in California. I recomend staying at the Ocean Beach Hotel with their awesome views of the Ocean and the beach.

A Drive Up The Coast: California 1 Shoreline Highway, All The Way

You could take I-5 or US 101 to get from San Francisco to northern California, but why not kick back and take in all the views, the curves, and the foggy, salty air along the coast? This drive takes you all the way from the Golden Gate Bridge to the end of Highway 1 at Leggett, California. We chose our winners, hired a professional film crew, and set a brief to capture their journeys. Our first winners, Tamsin from the UK and Guido from the Netherlands, travelled from NYC to Los Angeles, via the urban hideouts of the northeast and the California coast.

Then we welcomed Aussies, Jade and Aaron to explore Las Vegas and the National Parks of Utah and Arizona. Finally, Germans Max and Christian, and Alix from France and her Italian friend, Lorena, brought the journey home as they toured Florida and the deep south.

After a busy day of golf, hiking or sight seeing, there is nothing quite as relaxing as a few minutes in the sauna or a soak in the hot tub to sooth your body before dinner.

And, when you retire, you will enjoy one of the spacious five bedrooms which provide privacy and comfort. There are two ocean front Master Bedrooms and five separate bedrooms, three with California King beds and two with queen beds. There is also a convertible queen sofa in the loft/office. The most beautiful campsite in the world!

We got to camp at 8,000 feet and have this incredible view of 16,000 foot mountains where almost no foreigner has been. We also had cows surround our tent and smear poop all over it. They may have even tried on my green Crocs :)
