Jaddih Hill is a place of traditional white brick mining, it located in Jaddih Village, Bangkalan District Madura-East Java, approximately 10 kilometers to the west of Bangkalan district city center. This place is a new tourist destination but attracts many local Indonesian tourists. It landscapes is similar to Breksi Cliffs in Jogjakarta city, here you will see a formation of white limestone carvings of gigantic size, limestone cliffs in Jaddih village is not naturally formed, but it is the masterpiece of traditional white brick miners, For years, the miners take the white brick by cutting parts of the hill using a saw to form an exotic and artistic formation.

Actually, this mining area is a hill, and we can still explore it, if we climb to the top of the hill, we can enjoy the scenery to the green and vast area. This area is surrounded by an unspoiled landscape composed of green hills, is a perfect place for photography objects.

Inside the white brick mining area on this hill, we can see the pond in the middle, the water of this pond appears naturally, local people call it “Water of White Cave”, this is the main attraction of Bukit Jaddih.

Indonesia Destinations Tourist - Heroes Monument Of Surabaya – Indonesia Trip

The Heroes Monument (Indonesian:Tugu Pahlawan) is a monument in Surabaya, Indonesia. It is the main symbol of the city, dedicated to the people who died during the Battle of Surabaya on November 10, 1945. The 10 November Museum is located under the monument.

This monument is 41.15 meters tall and is phallus-shaped. It was built to commemorate the events of 10 November 1945 at the Battle of Surabaya. It is the venue every November 10 for the commemoration of the events of 1945, when many heroes died in the war of independence.

The first stone was laid by Sukarno, the first Indonesian President, accompanied by Surabaya Mayor, Doel Arnowo on 10 November 1951. It was officially opened one year later, also by Sukarno, on 10 November 1952 witnessed by Surabaya Mayor, R. Moestadjab Soemowidigdo.

The 10 November Museum was built to explain the meaning behind the Heroes Monument. The building consists of 2 floors, with exhibitions symbolizing the spirit of the Surabayan people's struggle. There is an auditorium on the second floor. The museum contains reproductions of documentary photographs, and there are dioramas that presents eight events that happened around the 10 November 1945 clashes.

This place was placed at the north of Surabaya so it's called with NORTH QUAY. You can find this place in google maps. Good relaxing area by the port. Free space, but not much to do since it was just an open space with very limited seatings area. You can walk around and enjoy the view, probably around 1hour top.
Port of Tanjung Perak or North Quay Harbour is the second busiest sea port in Indonesia, located at Surabaya, East Java. It is the main port for the eastern part of the island of Java. The port is accessed from the North through the Madura Strait, a 25 mile long, 100m wide and 9.5m deep channel between East Java and Madura Island. Because of its strategic position and the existence of surrounding advantageous hinterlands, the port constitutes the center of inter island shipping for Eastern Indonesia. Container terminal of the port is known as Terminal Petikemas. The port is being dredged to 14 metres (46 ft) depth to serve 10,000 teus 5th generation ships to be finished in mid-2015, while 16 metres (52 ft) depth with width 200 metres (660 ft) can serve 15,000 teus or 7th generation ships to be finished in mid-2016.
