Prince Edward Island 9 Top Things You Need to See and Do
Best Maritime Canada Lighthouses
I spent three weeks road tripping around Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island (PEI), the three provinces that make up Maritime Canada. During that time I saw dozens of lighthouses. While there are hundreds of Maritime Canada lighthouses throughout the three provinces, and while I only visited a couple dozen of them, I believe the following are some of the coolest. Leave a comment below and tell me which one is your favorite. For details on these 5 Maritime Canada Lighthouses, visit:
Ettinger Falls, Nova Scotia
Ettinger Falls are located in Hants County, Three Mile Plains (Windsor). Less than an hour's drive from Halifax.
The Falls can be seen from the roadside, with an easy hike in to the river.
Hiking along this pretty river, through the woods was really enjoyable. Hardly any bugs either! Ettinger Falls are a series of waterfalls including a larger one that empties into a swimming hole outfitted with a rope swing. This is a fairly easy hike with some climbing and river crossings if you want to explore further down river.
Directions to the Falls are included in video. I hope you enjoy the video and get out and see these Falls!
