Punta del Este is a coastal town in Uruguay, located in the Maldonado department. It is a famous seaside resort. Punta del Este has picturesque coastlines and beaches. There are two types of coast: Brava and Mansa. One shows the end of the Río de la Plata (Silver River) on one side and the other the Atlantic Ocean. All the beaches of the peninsula are open to the public. There are beaches where the water is calm and others with strong waves. The Monumento al Ahogado (Monument to the Drowned) serves to warn bathers that rough waves could cause them to drown.

The beach of Barra is popular for water sports and fishing. Other areas include El Tesoro Resort, Montoya Beach and Bikini Manantiales Beach. Today, this region has become an important tourist center.


Punta del Este est une ville côtière d'Uruguay, elle se situe dans le département de Maldonado. C'est une station balnéaire célèbre.Punta del Este possède des côtes et des plages pittoresques. Cola de Pato, un tesoro escondido entre las lomas en Jamao al Norte, Espaillat. Este es un lugar para los aventureros, los que no le tienen miedo a caminar, ni saltar de una piedra de 10m al rio, los que disfrutan de los ríos turquesas, la naturaleza y se preocupan por protegerla. El recorrido es de 9 kilómetros ida y vuelta y hay una subida de aproximadamente una hora bien empinada.
Sin lugar a dudas es uno de los lugares mas hermosos que he visitado aquí en RD (y yo he dado ruedas).

POR FAVOR cuidemos este lugar, y el resto de los lugares que tenemos, vamos a proteger lo que nos queda. CERO BASURA.

Praia das Pedras do Corgo ( Portugal ) a vista de drone

La Playa de Pedras do Corgo ( Lavra ) cuenta con un arenal muy extenso bañado por el fuerte oleaje del mar.
