Ganalu Falls near Bangalore at Ganalu, Malvalli tourism Mandya tourism Karnataka tourism,Ganalu waterfalls located at Ganalu, Malavalli Taluk, Mandya District, Karnataka .The Shimsha river flows down to form the Ganalu Waterfalls. It is surrounded by rocky terrain, and requires little bit of trek to reach the final place. The Shimsha river further flows down towards Shimshapura Hydro Electric Plant . This place is accessible to an extent by two wheelers and and not much by four wheeler. The path to the waterfall is a narrow mud road. It is a lesser known waterfall. Not many people are around this waterfall other than locals and bikers. The waterfalls comes to life by the month of October. The view of the rocky surface of the waterfall area is equally interesting to visit, to see the kind of rough surface. One needs to be cautious while ascending and descending towards the water fall. As the rocky surface can be dangerous in case of even minor mishaps.
Distance between Bangalore and Ganalu Falls is 99 kms. It is located 45 KM from Mandya , 15 KM from Malvalli and 69 Kms from Mysore.

Talakadu is one of the Pancha Narayana Kshetrams where the Keerthi Narayana temple was established and the presiding Deity in this temple is Keerthi Narayana,18 feet tall Ancient Bahubali statue at KRS backwaters, Basadihalli, venugopala swamy temple at KRS backwaters on the banks of Kaveri River, the Sri Narayana Swamy temple at Anandur, the submerged stone carved temple , Gommatagiri -a heritage jain center, Somanathapura Hoysala temple, Muthathi forest and Bheemeshwari Cauveri fishing camp.

1.Nagarhole National Park
Nagarhole National Park, is a national park located in Kodagu district and Mysore district in Karnataka state in South India. This park was declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger reserve in 1999. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
2.Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary
Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary also known as Pakshi Kashi of Karnataka is a bird sanctuary in the Mandya District of the state of Karnataka in India.
3.Mysore Palace
The Palace of Mysore is a historical palace in the city of Mysore in Karnataka, southern India. It is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars — the rulers of Mysore, the royal family of Mysore, who ruled the princely state from 1399 to 1950.
4.Bandipur National Park
Bandipur National Park, an 874-sq.-km forested reserve in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, is known for its small population of tigers. Once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Mysore, the park also harbors Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other native species. The 14th-century Himavad Gopalaswamy Temple offers views from the park's highest peak.

The Badami cave temples are a complex of four Hindu, Jain and possibly Buddhist cave temples located in Badami, a town in the Bagalkot district in northern part of Karnataka, India.
9.Kudremukh
Kuduremukha is a mountain range and name of a peak located in Chikkamagaluru district, in Karnataka, India.It is also the name of a small hill station cum mining town situated near the mountain, about 48 kilometres from Karkala and around 20 kilometres from Kalasa. The name Kuduremukha literally means 'horse-face' (Kannada) and refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse's face. It was also referred to as 'Samseparvata', historically since it was approached from Samse village. Kuduremukh is Karnataka's 3rd highest peak after Mullayangiri and Baba Budangiri. The nearest International Airport is at Mangalore which is at distance of 99 kilometres.
10.Bannerghatta National Park
Bannerghatta National Park, near Bangalore, Karnataka, was founded in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.
