Places to see in ( Cantabria - Spain ) Santona
Santoña is a town in the eastern coast of the autonomous community of Cantabria, on the north coast of Spain. It is situated by the bay of the same name. It is 45 kilometres from the capital Santander.
The history of Santoña has always been linked to the sea, to such an extent that it is the Cantabrian's major canning port. Its industry is based above all on the commercialization of tuna and its famous anchovies in olive oil.
Santoña is divided into two areas: the town centre, which sits on a plain, and a mountainous area on the slopes of El Brusco and El Buciero. The history of the town is linked to the Monastery of Santa María del Puerto, which later gave rise to the Romanesque church of Santa María del Puerto.
It was built between the 13th and 17th centuries and houses a reredos of San Bartolomé with Flemish paintings from the 15th century. Equally significant are its military fortifications, grouped around the mountain of Buciero, which is evidence of the strategic importance of the port. Still in good condition are the forts of San Martín, San Carlos and Mazo or Napoleon.

LE MERAVIGLIOSE STRADE DELLE ISOLE CANARIE
Riprese di Marco Petruzzelli
tvreporter.it
Le Isole Canarie sono un grande arcipelago di sette isole maggiori e due isole minori, tutte di origine vulcanica. Sono situate nell'Oceano Atlantico al largo dell'Africa nord-occidentale. Formano una comunità autonoma della Spagna.
the Canary Islands, are a Spanish archipelago located just off the northwest coast of mainland Africa, 100 kilometres (62 miles) west of the border between Morocco and the Western Sahara. The Canaries are one of Spain's 17 autonomous communities and are among the outermost region of the European Union proper. The islands include (from largest to smallest): Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro, La Graciosa, Alegranza, Isla de Lobos, Montaña Clara, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste.
The archipelago's beaches, climate and important natural attractions, especially Maspalomas in Gran Canaria and Teide National Park and Mount Teide in Tenerife (the third tallest volcano in the world measured from its base on the ocean floor), make it a major tourist destination with over 12 million visitors per year, especially Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote.[7][8] The islands have a subtropical climate, with long warm summers and moderately warm winters.[9] Due to their location above the temperature inversion layer, the high mountains of these islands are ideal for astronomical observation. For this reason, two professional observatories, Teide Observatory on the island of Tenerife and Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on the island of La Palma, have been built on the islands.
Camino de Santiago - Trail to Larrasoana
Brian and I are on our way to Larrasoana in this video. We left Roncesvalles and it snowed, rained and hailed all night long in the higher elevations. There were 50-60 mph winds the day before on the trail from St Jean to Roncesvalles and some people were injured due to the winds. One man fell over and broke his nose. I was hit in the head by a falling branch. The weather can be unpredictible from my understanding in SJPP and Roncesvalles. Always check before heading out.
Our hike to Larrasoana from Roncesvalles was 16.7 miles (27km) long. The longest hike of our Camino. Brian and I were feeling pretty good and the landscape is gorgeous. This video will show you what the Camino looks like on the way. Shortly after the village of Zubiri, you will hike near a cement quarry that is very strange looking, but just know that's what it is. Originally, I had thought it was a burned down building.

The Bandit's Bridge is the entrance to Larrasoana. The bridge is beautiful and received its name because it had been a favorite place to rob pilgrims back in the day.
Brian and I spent the night at Pension Tau and enjoyed the peaceful evening there. They also serve a pilgrim's meal for only $10 euro, including all the wine you can drink! Photos included in this video.
There's also a photo of a silver snake that I cannot get any info on, so if you know what type of snake this is, please mention it in your comments below.

Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
Our most recent trip was to South Korea where I embarked upon a two-week adventure without Audrey. Invited as part of a YouTube vlogging trip, organized by KTO, I spent the first week traveling with other YouTubers in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My second week included independent exploration of Korea with my good friend and fellow YouTuber David of DavidsBeenHere.
Having lived and traveled in South Korea, the chance to return to one of my favorite countries was one of the biggest surprises of 2019. On this particular trip, I had an opportunity to do many things I had not previously covered including a visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between South Korea and North Korea), a Buddhist Temple Stay and a Korean cooking class. It was almost as if the program designed by KTO knew exactly what I had missed out on before.
Obviously, a huge highlight from the two weeks I spent revisiting Korea was the food. I feasted on all of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean barbecue, dolsot bibimbap, haemul pajeon, tteokbokki, bulgogi, kimbap and many others. I can honestly say that Korean food is world-class and is one of my top 5 favorite cuisines in the world. Aside from trying familiar dishes, I had the opportunity to sample raw Korean seafood for the first time.
While visiting Seoul, highlights included going to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Seoul Tower, Jogyesa Temple and Hongdae. As one of the biggest cities in the world, I barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seoul.
Spending extended time in Busan was my favorite part about the trip with top highlights including a Korean temple stay, fresh fish markets and a Korean baseball game. It was from Busan that we ended up taking a day-trip to Daegu where we enjoyed a traditional Korean market and tried Galbi-Jjim for the first time.
If you want to see more videos from Korea in the future, let us know in the comments what places you'd like us to travel to and what food experiences you'd like to see on this travel channel.
Have you traveled to South Korea before? What was your experience like? Please share your Korea travel tips, advice and experiences in the comments below.
Thanks again for watching our Korea travel and food series! Until next time!
