Mazovia is a historical region in mid-north-eastern Poland. It spans across the North European Plain, roughly between Lodz and Bialystok, with Warsaw being the unofficial capital and largest city. Throughout the centuries, Mazovia developed a separate sub-culture featuring diverse folk songs, architecture, dress and traditions different to those of other Poles. Historical Mazovia existed from the Middle Ages until the partitions of Poland and consisted of three voivodeships with the capitals in Warsaw, Płock and Rawa.   • 2. Center of Polish Sculpture in Oronsko Oronsko
    The Polish Sculpture Center in Orońsko, near Radom, Poland, is a museum housed at Józef Brandt’s 19th-century manor house. The Center’s collections comprise 621 sculptures, installations and other art forms owned by the Center, as well as 173 deposit items. The collections additionally include 70 paintings, drawings and tapestries. The Center's activities and the manor complex are maintained by the Joseph Brandt Foundation. The Center also provides technical support for artists who participate in its Sculpting Program.
